POLITICO reports Russian puppet president Trump is meeting Vlad’s mortal enemy, the Secretary General of NATO Jens Stoltenberg (in this instance Stoltenberg as a man is irrelevant but his role in the world is despised by Kremlin manchildren).   Stoltenberg will arrive in Washington today for a two-day visit. On Wednesday he will appear with the lunatic reality TV star and Twitter blogger squatting in the White House and he will also lay a wreath at Arlington National Cemetery, America’s military cemetery in Virginia. Call it an homage to “American carnage”?

The AP reports “a Russian man alleged to be at the head of the so-called Kelihos botnet scheme,” Pyotr Levashov, “was detained in Spain at the request of U.S. authorities.” The criminal case against Levashov by the Department of Justice remains sealed. Newsweek cites AP reports, “Levashov was arrested in Barcelona on 7 April on a U.S. computer crimes warrant, according to a spokeswoman for Spain’s National Court who wished to remain anonymous”. Curiously, “Levashov’s wife, Maria, told Russian media that police stormed the apartment they were staying in on vacation over allegations that her husband created a computer virus that was ‘linked to Trump’s election win.’

The AP reports, “The United States has concluded Russia knew in advance of Syria’s chemical weapons attack last week, a senior U.S. official said Monday.” Accordingly, “The official said a drone operated by Russians was flying over a hospital as victims of the attack were rushing to get treatment. Hours after the drone left, a Russian-made fighter jet bombed the hospital in what American officials believe was an attempt to cover up the usage of chemical weapons.” So if TRUMPISTAN WATCH understands Russian war-time modus operandi, one if by chemical weapons two if by bombing the hospital where they are treated. Where the hell is Glenn Greenwald to remind us of the horror of this? Naturally, “The allegation is grave, even by the standards of the currently dismal U.S.-Russian relations.” Notably, “Washington has never previously accused Moscow of complicity in any attack that involved the gassing of innocent civilians, including children,” so maybe we will get the government to concede a coup took place here with the Russians installing a puppet and a bunch of puppet advisors some day too?! Hope! And déjà vu.

Reuters reports from the G7 in Lucca, Italy on developments surrounding pressure on Russia over Syria’s use of chemical weapons. “British Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson said support for the Syrian president ‘was toxifying the reputation of Russia’ and suggested sanctions could be imposed on Moscow if it refused to change course.” Of course Russian Order of Friendship medal recipient and U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson is off to his old friends in Moscow tomorrow, the first official from Trumpenführerwelt to touch down in the capital of their overlords. Before departing to see master Vlad, Reuters reports Tillerson said, “”We rededicate ourselves to holding to account any and all who commit crimes against the innocents anywhere in the world,” in the town of Sant’Anna di Stazzema during the commemoration of the 1944 Nazi massacre. Has he absorbed the fact that he works for a president who spent 16 months encouraging mob violence against minorities and other dissenters at his hate rallies and continues to deny domestic hate crimes against anyone but whites are such? Also how tacky that he uses Nazi crimes as a backdrop to do nothing substantive. Hmmm…. It’s a hint, a clue to the horrors ahead if you believe history is often repeated and “never again” has no meaning, which seems to be very much the case! Let’s hold Trump to account for “crimes against the innocents,” T Rex, TRUMPISTAN WATCH dares you. BBC reports, “UK proposals to target sanctions at senior military leaders were sidelined,” and there was no agreement on new sanctions against Russia, condemning future generations to Russian slavery if we continue down this road much longer with sad little Vlad unchecked. As T Rex is off to Moscow, BBC’s Steve Rosenberg tweets, “Russian foreign ministry issues long statement ahead of Tillerson visit, says ‘gearing up for constructive cooperation, not confrontation’”. Sounds like a valentine these days. Big love from the Kremlin to a true friend of Vlad’s, T Rex.

Bloomberg reports that France and Germany’s defense ministers have agreed “to buy as many as 12 U.S.-made military transport planes to boost Europe’s airlift capability as U.S. President Donald Trump presses NATO allies to spend more on defense.” Accordingly, “German Defense Minister Ursula von der Leyen and her French counterpart Jean-Yves Le Drian sealed the accord in Berlin on Monday, confirming an October 2016 plan to jointly operate the Lockheed Martin C-130J Super Hercules from a base at Evreux, France.” Von der Leyen sounded a somber note about the reality of catastrophe Trump and Putin represent to the alliance, “In view of the changed security situation, we, as Germans, French and Europeans, must face the realities as hard as it may seem to many: we must strive to protect and defend ourselves — with all its consequences”.

The Hill reports Senator Bob Menendez of New Jersey, where major east coast refineries are located, sent a letter to Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin asking the Treasury to “proactively monitor” “a loan that Rosneft… has provided to Citgo Petroleum Corp.’s parent company,” the Venezuelan state oil company Petroleros de Venezuela SA or PDVSA. Menendez said by way of a statement, “Given Russia’s interference in the U.S. election and ongoing meddling in European elections, not to mention its habit of invading and bullying its neighbors, the last thing the United States should be doing is handing the Kremlin a significant ownership share in a major U.S. energy supplier”. PDVSA used “used 49.9 percent of Citgo’s shares as collateral for a loan” to Rosneft that was more of a government bailout in collapsing Venezuela last December. Rosneft may end up with these shares as seems likely and “with the Russian company’s other interests in the company,” it would be enough “to give it majority control.” Smell that coming fuel crisis! So what’s at stake? According to Menendez letter to Mnuchin, our very energy independence as, “This could leave Rosneft, a Russian company controlled by oligarchs with close ties to [Russian President] Vladimir Putin, in control of critical energy infrastructure in the United States”. CNN Money reports more than just Menendez is concerned and that “Both Republican and Democratic lawmakers are highly alarmed.” Several “members of Congress and senators warned that it could be a big problem for US national security if Russia gets a hold of Citgo” in letters sent to the Trump administration in recent days. And The Wall Street Journal reports Monday night that Canadian mining company Crystallex “asked a federal judge in the U.S. state of Delaware for an injunction blocking” PDVSA “from taking cash or transferring assets from Citgo.” Thanks Canadians!

Russian state-run TASS reports that the Russian state and those aligned with it will be stepping up harassment of Kremlin critic Alexey Navalny who scares the bejeezus out of sad, scared little Vlad. “Russian businessman” (likely in the nineties “biznesmen” sense of a man with a briefcase full of cash) Alisher Usmanov will “sue oppositionist Alexei Navalny for libel in the wake of Navalny’s most recent publication that mar Usmanov’s honor and dignity.” In bizarrely borrowed language, Usmanov said, “he crossed the red line when he accused me of committing a crime.” Does he know that means he should do nothing but let everything go on as is while dancing about bringing Navalny to the negotiating table?

So absurd are our times that a picture of Senator John McCain with recently reelected Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic (Milosevic’s former Minister of Information) in a sunny garden in Belgrade is a positive sign. Serbia’s descent into reality TV politics and gangsterism infiltrating all spheres of life began well before ours did so as such, Serbia is a much more developed nation in this certain regard. McCain and Vucic took to their garden party “to discuss further political and military cooperation between the two countries,” according to the Balkan Investigative Reporting Newtork’s Balkan Insight. McCain expressed concern over the coup attempt Russia made earlier this year in neighboring Montenegro and the usual platitudes of our time about evil terrorists were exchanged. For his part, “Vucic said that he and McCain talked about peacekeeping operations, Serbia’s European path, mutual relations, military exercises and activities,” noting ““We had eight joint exercises in 2016, six or seven were agreed in 2017 and over a hundred joint activities. This is a very fair cooperation,” and repeating, “that Serbia does not want to belong to any military alliance.” McCain’s Balkan tour started Saturday and has already taken him to Slovenia and Croatia. Belgrade is traditionally aligned with Russia. McCain is also headed to Bosnia, Montenegro, Albania and Kosovo.

The Ukrianian MP Serhiy Leshchecko responsible for leaking documents around Paul Manafort’s shady dealings in Ukraine when Manafort worked as a consultant for ousted President Viktor Yanukovych spoke with an online Jewish publication, Tablet Magazine. We should ask ourselves two things: are we listening to a dead man walking or is he part of a broader, orchestrated campaign and that is why he survives with his life? For starters, Leshchenko answers, “I am representing only myself, of course. I never ask permission from anyone, not the president, not the Rada. This is purely my own position as a politician.” As for Manafort, Leshchenko says it is known now that he “received money to an account in America, but he did not receive it directly from the Party of Regions. We now know that he received the money from an offshore company in Belize, which was tied to accounts in Kyrgyzstan.” Leshchenko calls for Manafort to “be investigated by the FBI, because the FBI can get access to Manafort’s bank records in America, interrogate him in America, and request confirmation of this payment, and so on.” As for the alleged hacked texts that he allegedly sent to Manafort and his daughter in a coercive black mail attempt, Leshchenko denies their authenticity, “I do not know who faked those texts or for what purpose. But they were forged, they imitated my email.”

The Financial Times has a necessary piece on a topic that TRUMPISTAN WATCH has waited for eagerly all these months, namely talk of the end of Putin’s days in the Kremlin. Yay! It’s helpful always to imagine a future. In this case, The Financial Times quotes a Kremlin insider, “The threat is not from Navalny, but from within,” which makes perfect sense. Do you see how high those walls around the Kremlin are? Whatever goes in may never come out… The Financial Times reports, “More than 17 years after Mr Putin became president, the authoritarian system he built is showing signs of internal corrosion.” It cannot fall soon enough — yesterday was already too late.

Hellspawn Eric “Qusay” Trump, brother of Aryan princess Ivanka, told The Telegraph, “Ivanka is a mother of three kids and she has influence. I’m sure she said: ‘Listen, this is horrible stuff’”. Dear God, help us all. These terrible people are not just indifferent, ignorant mafia they actually think they are doing humanity a goddamn favor. According to Qusay, “Then a leader gasses their own people, women and children,” which P.S. can always happen here especially with Daddy’s Nazis in power. Qusay continues, “At some point America is the global leader and the world’s superpower has to come forward and act and they did with a lot of support of our allies and I think that’s a great thing.” Someone tell Qusay and his brother Uday that they spent months demonizing the same Syrians who Daddy doesn’t want in the country and are now the very people he now speaks of saving. Listen Nazis, this is not hard but you cannot love Nazis and hate the gas – these two go together. Even worse, Qusay describes daddy indirectly as “decent” because “There isn’t a single decent person in the world who saw those images and saw those kids being sprayed down by hoses to keep their skin from burning, who wasn’t deeply affected”. Do these fools realize this has been happening for years before they discovered atrocities and they showed not an iota of compassion for suffering people and their families before last week when the Trump administration was teetering under the weight of investigations into the Trump klan’s shady Russian dealings. Breitbart “News” seemed content Monday to run with the “Jews made Trump do it” narrative because my god, the Mothership never rests, even the innocent fake president can be lured into the evil Jew lair! Recall, Breitbart is the Nazi conspiracy propaganda outlet of Chief Strategist Steve “the other unhinged lunatic Nazi president” Bannon. Laugh because otherwise you will cry + they hate the sound of your laughter because we should be scared — remember? After all, as The Evening Standard puts it in an Auden-quoting commentary, “The world order is at the mercy of Ivanka Trump’s feelings”. Evidently the world only cares about your feelings if you are nepotism Barbie. We should all be so lucky.

Just as it turns out Americans actually want a state and actually see NATO as protecting us, Americans don’t want Trump leading us down a dark tunnel toward unilateral regime change in another Middle Eastern country. It’s as if we are still kind of the country that elected Obama and suffered through the grinding despair of Bush’s second term in particular. In a nicely headlined Washington Post story, “Trump still can’t buy a vote of confidence,” reports a CBS News poll showed 57 percent of Americans agreed with the decision to send missiles into Syria but his approval rating is still dismal but still much too much too high at 43 percent with 49 percent disapproving. Critically, “Americans were even more emphatic about what they don’t want to see next: any other unilateral strikes authorized by Trump or further involvement, period.” It’s like we have seen this movie before and have whiplash from a total turnaround of everything Trump stands for (Nazis, an end to “some weird shit” called “American carnage”). Everybody wants oversight because it’s like we know he is a completely unstable and insane tyrant or something. “Seven in 10 — including a majority of Republicans — said Trump needs to obtain authorization from Congress for any more strikes.” What’s funny in a sad ironic sense is that the icon of toxic masculinity and imagined paternalism of our time is actually being handled like an emotional child by the American people who feel like they are locked in a room with a screaming child who happens to be guiding their destiny and “that even when Trump does something the American people clearly support, they aren’t going to suddenly give him the keys to the car.” He’s worse than a pimply teenage boy who does nothing but gloat and stare at tits — it’s true.

Just a quick reminder that the goal of active measures employed by Russia in an effort to capture the state broadly involve seizing control of the three pillars of any state, namely, the economy, foreign policy and defense. Agence France Presse reports, “The US central bank’s shield from political interference is ‘under some threat’ from Congress,” according to Federal Reserve Chief Janet Yellen in statements she made Monday at the University of Michigan. This should send some alarm bells ringing as Congress is not just any Congress but controlled by the Russia Party which has created a shield protecting Trump from investigation. Yellen noted, “The US Congress ‘very wisely’ passed a law that afforded that independence to the Fed in the 1970s, but it is threatened by proposed legislation that would either audit the Fed’s decisions or require it to follow a strict mathematical formula to set interest rates.”

The Russian leader was busy bestowing honors of Order of Friendship on “executives at Glencore Plc, the Qatar Investment Authority, and Intesa Sanpaolo SpA months after the $11 billion deal to buy a minority stake in state oil company Rosneft PJSC.” This is the same award our completely useless Secretary of State Rex Tillerson received! Joy! Let’s name names! “Glencore Chief Executive Officer Ivan Glasenberg, Qatari royal Sheikh Abdullah Bin Mohammed Bin Saud Al Thani and Intesa executives including Chief Executive Officer Carlo Messina,” and “Antonio Fallico, chairman of Banca Intesa Russia, was awarded the Order of Honour.” Congrats all, you sold your souls! Congrats everyone for identifying yourselves as servants to nothing but rubles, which are likely guaranteed in dollars because we all know the Russian economy is a sinking shithole and the Russian government just an enormous kleptocratic security state mafia. You are now part of la famiglia, actively working to destroy the foundations of humanity, civil society, decency, privacy, oh and did TRUMPISTAN WATCH mention humanity? What is the medal worth? “In December, Putin unveiled the deal for Glencore and the Qatari fund to buy a 19.5 percent stake in Rosneft, Russia’s largest oil producer, using loans from Intesa.” Evidently, that much. Also conflict of interest alert!Peter Grauer, the chairman of Bloomberg LP, is a senior independent non-executive director at Glencore.” Fun! Everyone has a price if they go to Russia! In America at least still not everyone is for sale, albeit many are and for not very much.

It’s no secret the Trump administration hates any media that does not tell fabulous conspiracies or repeat verbatim the bullshit it delivers to keep a steady stream of reality TV style gossip stories in the press to camouflage the enormity of the Russia scandal. Well The Washington Post reports NBC News Andrea Mitchell is not only making her own arrangements to cover Russian Order of Friendship medal recipient and U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson’s first foray to see his master in the Kremlin in Moscow Wednesday, but she has a message for T Rex: “you are only hurting yourselves” by shutting out the media. TRUMPISTAN WATCH would beg to differ that T Rex’s active measures-attacked State Department is hurting all of us, the U.S. government’s role in the world and the citizens of the world who have looked to the U.S. for guidance and protection as their own governments behave much as ours is at present. Also our civil servants are hurting. More significantly, Mitchell told POLITICO’s Susan Glasser that it’s “almost criminal negligence to not have nominated people”. What a foreign attack on our state can do…

Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty reports “A bill that would bar children under 14 from social networks and place other restrictions on Internet use has been submitted to Russia’s parliament,” however “a lukewarm reception from the Kremlin appeared to cloud its prospects for passage.” “Controversial” Duma deputy Vitaly Milonov submitted a draft law Monday that “would require users accessing social networks to present identification documents in order to prove their age,” which would also ensnare everyone else. Milonov is controversial because he is behind the 2013 anti gay propaganda laws that showed the gross indifference of the Russian state to humanity a few years back already now. Is Snowden enjoying himself in the land of all his alleged fears? Naturally “the use of social media to organize public gatherings that are not sanctioned by the authorities” would be banned as would, “the use of social media at state companies and offices,” unless those happen to be troll farms. What does recent Russian history tell us? “Kremlin-watchers say Putin and his government sometimes have allies submit bills that appear too controversial for passage and subsequently support separate legislation containing some of the proposals from the rejected draft.”

The AP reports, “Google will expand the use of ‘fact check’ tags in its search results — the tech industry’s latest effort to combat false and misleading news stories.” If you “search for a topic in Google’s main search engine or the Google News section,” you “will see a conclusion such as ‘mostly true’ or ‘false’ next to stories that have been fact checked.” What stories will be fact checked and who is wading through the morass of “fake news,” e.g. propaganda, conspiracy, innuendo and lies? “Google has been working with more than 100 news organizations and fact-checking groups, including The Associated Press, the BBC and NPR. Their conclusions will appear in search results as long as they meet certain formatting criteria for automation.” The tech giant noted “only a few of those organizations, including PolitiFact and Snopes.com, have already met those requirements; The Washington Post also says it complies” but that “it expects the ranks of compliant organizations to grow following Friday’s announcement.” This “comes a day after Facebook launched a resource to help users spot false news and misleading information that spreads on its service.”

Yay we soon get to hear from the last real president of the United States! And we can expect an eloquent, moral defense of humanity, not the customary whiny early morning insane bullshit North Korea tweets and barely literate Catskills comedy hour shtick of the current puppet president! Yay! Deutsche Welle reports, “Obama will visit Germany in May to address the Protestant Church Assembly, or Kirchentag, the organizers confirmed on Tuesday. Obama will join Chancellor Angela Merkel and other dignitaries at the four-day festival. He is believed to be making a speech at the closing event in Berlin to mark the 500th anniversary of the Reformation. It would be his first public talk since his second term came to an end in January.” Obama is very popular in Germany unlike Trump, who has been depicted beheading lady liberty on the cover of Der Spiegel because the Germans have some experience with a lunatic, homicidal demagogue.

Oscar winning film maker of “Citizenfour” Laura Poitras is reworking her film on known loon Julian Assange, the head of WikiLeaks turned asylum seeker inside the Ecuadorean Embassy in London. Evidently the contradictions got to her and what was slated to be an activist film which debuted at last year’s Cannes festival to mixed reviews is now “not the flim I thought I was making,” according to a Poitras voice over for the trailer released after “Homeland” aired stateside Sunday. Poitras said, “I thought I could ignore the contradictions. … I was wrong. They are becoming the story.” During the 2016 U.S. election, WikiLeaks ran major interference for the Russian state so this is a positive development especially since man-child Julian is sure to have an epic hissy fit over anything that portrays him as less than the glorified David v. Goliath he imagines himself to be. As Slate notes, “Poitras’ willingness to hold onto the movie and take account of new information is a very promising sign.” Indeed!

McSweeney’s brings us a “Kushner Family Haggadah,” kosher for Passover! Non-Jooz know the story too because hello, it’s the Biblical book of Exodus but celebrated by Jooz, so that means an occasion to celebrate how they tried to kill us, they didn’t succeed, let’s eat! The Kushner version tells the story of ancestors “in the land of Egypt, Brooklyn, and New Jersey before reaching the Promised Land of Washington D.C.The Jewish people were saved when “One Jewish mother resisted. She placed her baby in a tiny boat made of ancient Planned Parenthood signs, remnants from a bygone era, and set him afloat in the Nile, hoping he’d be saved. An undercover CIA operative posing as Pharaoh’s daughter found the baby, named him Moses, and raised him as her own.” It concludes, “next year in Moscow!”
