Which is probably what led Trump to hire him because as is known, this administration has no policy beyond troll, kiss Russia’s ass, and undo or do the opposite of whatever Obama did. The New York Times reports Obama warned Trump against hiring Flynn “when Mr. Obama met with his successor in the Oval Office two days after the November election, two former Obama administration officials said on Monday.” Recall Obama fired Flynn from the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) because Flynn was an unhinged nutter and he “told Mr. Trump that he would have profound concerns about Mr. Flynn becoming a top national security aide”. Of course Trump ignored the concerns because Trump does not give a damn about America or our national security, he just wants to eat his goddamn cake as the missiles fly. Of course Trump has tried to blame Obama via his favorite medium, Twitter, but whatever, just not enough hours in the day for that kind of bullshit trolling. Where have all the patriots gone…

Oh here she is! Not everybody in America is for sale, unlike say in Russia. Let’s allow this POLITICO headline to speak for itself: “Sally Yates: ‘We believed that Gen. Flynn was compromised’”. That is a true fact. POLITICO reports, “Yates said she warned White House counsel Don McGahn in late January that Flynn… had misled Vice President Mike Pence and other senior officials and that as a result, public statements by White House officials were inaccurate.” Holy shit, they are lying liars who lie a bunch! Revelation! Revelation! The result of warnings? “Trump waited 18 days after Yates’ warning to fire Flynn”. In this time, “Flynn was involved in high-level national security decisions, including new sanctions on Iran, after the White House had been informed he could be blackmailed.” Think about that. Ok, if thinking is painful don’t, just stop adulting. Of course, “Earlier on Monday, Trump launched a preemptive Twitter strike on Yates,” because he is dumb as shit and so are a bunch of folks who still cannot see through the scam being offered by his presidency and continue to support him while not educating themselves on the reality of the real facts, the true ones, not the dummy alternative ones. The other wonderful thing is “Yates’ appearance also revived another controversial episode her own firing as acting attorney general on Jan. 30, which came after she refused to defend Trump’s first travel ban targeting citizens from several Muslim-majority countries.” Oh, the Muslim ban! Can you believe it has not even been four full months since this lunatic traitor took office? That was not even four months ago! These are the days of our lives. POLITICO notes “her story came to an abrupt end” as she was very publicly fired from the Department of Justice and accused of “betrayal” by the White House because they had a good ten day run on the state when they behaved like delusional and drunk Leninists who knew the magnitude of the power they yielded but not yet how and the constraints. Goddamn fools who treat America like that, TRUMPISTAN WATCH wags a finger and shouts “They’ll get theirs!” Rehabilitation must not even be an option.

In part because James Clapper said he could not corroborate the Steele dossier, but with the important caveat that he was unaware of the FBI investigation. Now forgive TRUMPISTAN WATCH for a little moment in national security history but his previous position, the Director of National Intelligence, was created after September 11, 2001 to synthesize American intelligence so as to not have a repeat of the events of that day and to facilitate inter-agency communication, as was the nomenclature of the day. Well, what the hell happened? The consequence is of course obvious to those familiar with Twitler’s presidency, “President Donald Trump called Clapper’s comments a full dismissal of potential collusion and dismissed the entire issue outright in the series of tweets after the hearing”. He even changed his Twitter banner to reflect his new perception of reality.

The Washington Examiner reports, “Sen. John McCain and five other senators are urging President Trump to hold off on meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin until he has first met with Ukrainian leaders.” Beautiful. Welcome to the straight jacket of power, Trump and Vlad, welcome to a world in which not everyone can be bought or coerced and welcome America to appreciating what sort of a man John McCain is. “The senators, who include Republican and Democratic members of the Armed Services and Foreign Relations committees, wrote to the president after he and Putin reportedly discussed a first face-to-face meeting in July on the sidelines of the G20 summit in Germany,” The Washington Examiner reports.

Everyone welcome your new master Russia! Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov is here in the homeland visiting Washington starting today to check up on the occupation government and ensure active measure T Rex is absolutely decimating our foreign policy, as per standard KGB playbook procedure to capture the state. Lavrov is coming all the way to Washington, ostensibly to “‘discuss Ukraine, Syria and bilateral issues,’ the State Department announced Monday,” according to POLITICO.

POLITICO reports on the interesting situation the Russian dictator Vladimir Putin finds himself in now after a failed effort to hack and skew the French election results against the President Elect of France Emmanuel Macron in favor of fascist Moscow Marine Le Pen. Isn’t it grand? Just think, this could have been our nation but we are too stupid because instead we chose to drag our republic from the back of the truck, spit on the next generation and condemn this one to a status of lost that really began with the financial crisis of 2008. The future is European, not American or British and certainly not Russian. POLITICO reports, “In a statement, Putin wished Macron ‘good health, well-being and success’ as president, adding that ‘overcoming mutual distrust and joining efforts to ensure international stability and security is especially important.’” With Russia there is no stability or security, only lies, bullshit, murder and torture. Lucky for Europe they know history, unlike most Americans.

The Wall Street Journal reports on “Documents found in email accounts hackers said are linked to Russian officials”. Allegedly, “the documents were released by a shadowy group called Anonymous International – also known as ‘Shaltai Boltoi,’ which is Russian for Humpty Dumpty.” God knows what this is, whether it is some sort of Lubyanka shadow plot or genuine, Russians will be so cynical as to presume all manner of conspiracy because they have been terrorized and lied to for centuries by one terrible government after another.

Poor Russia the whole world is against it because it does things it should not like send three war ships into Latvia’s exclusive economic zone on Sunday, The Baltic Times reports Monday. “Three Russian corvettes – the Liven 551, the Serpukhov 603 and the Morshansk 824 – were detected in the Latvian exclusive economic zone four nautical miles away from the Latvian territorial waters,” which is an act of pure aggression which Russia will inevitably deny, then concede, then suggest it is some enemy conspiracy before admitting and then understating their true intentions, which are almost certainly nefarious. Naturally already there are disputed accounts of why these ships were so close to Latvia’s territorial waters.

From The Baltic Times.

Reuters reports, “The Baltic states of Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia said on Monday they had agreed to link their power systems to other European Union members through Poland as they look to reduce their dependence on Russia.” Currently the countries are integrated into the Russian and Belarussian grids as ex-Soviet occupied republics. Of course the Soviet Union destroyed these countries through murder, brutality and ultimately the neglect of corruption. Unlike some Americans delusional about friendship with Russia, the Balts of course know better because they have an impossibly difficult history to contend with as a result of Soviet occupation.

CNN reports, “Former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page told Senate investigators that he had ‘brief interactions’ several years ago with a Russian official he said was a ‘junior attaché,’ even though US officials had suspected the official of spying on behalf of the Kremlin.” Curiously, “Page pointedly declined to provide details of more meetings with Russians, saying doing so would result in ‘hundreds of hours’ of work and that the Obama administration already had records of his Russian contacts because of its surveillance”. Page does admit to a meeting with Victor Podobnyy in 2013, the “junior attaché”. Adding to curiosity, “Page acknowledged in 2013 he met with federal agents about his discussions with Podobnyy, saying he brought up some of his research with the federal investigators that he said prompted retaliation from the government.”

TRUMPISTAN WATCH tries to wade into the reality TV politics as minimally as possible.   When it comes to the puppet president and his National Security Advisor H.R. McMaster, widely perceived to be running the actual presidency as opposed to The Presidency Show, the reality TV freak show occurring in the front room, it matters though. Bloomberg has a disturbing story, “Washington Loves General McMaster, But Trump Doesn’t,” and it’s as disastrous as you may begin to imagine and then your imagination collides head on with the reality of the dumpster fire train wreck presidency. Bloomberg reports, “White House officials tell me Trump himself has clashed with McMaster in front of his staff,” and “the White House chief of staff, Reince Priebus, is blocking McMaster on a key appointment.” According to “McMaster’s allies and adversaries inside the White House… Trump is disillusioned with him.” How does the most dystopian figure in American history do disillusionment? Presumably with profound narcissism and void of any sort of introspection. “Trump screamed at McMaster on a phone call, accusing him of undercutting efforts to get South Korea to pay its fair share” and “This was not an isolated incident.” Of course there is more, because this president is a Kremlin troll. “McMaster’s requests to brief the president before some press interviews have been declined,” and he brought in “Last Monday, former U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, John Bolton, who was a finalist for McMaster’s job, met with Trump to discuss a range of issues with the National Security Council.” Why? John Bolton’s mustache is also a troll. “Trump has defended Flynn publicly,” as “The two shared a bond from the campaign trail,” where they both got to dabble in their worst selves so “McMaster came into the job with one strike against him.” Namely, he wasn’t Flynn!?! Holy hell. How did the friction begin? Over the president’s racism of course! “The first conflict between McMaster and Trump was about the major speech the president delivered at the end of February to a joint session of Congress. McMaster pleaded with the president not to use phrase ‘radical Islamic terrorism.’” Evidently McMaster “sent memos throughout the government complaining about a draft of that speech that included the phrase. But the phrase remained. When Trump delivered the speech, he echoed his campaign rhetoric by emphasizing each word: ‘Radical.’ ‘Islamic.’ ‘Terrorism.’” Those of you who are like, no, no, everything’s ok, I am white and a man in modern America, the government will work itself out, wake the hell up because this is a grim picture of how the Russian state terror squatting in the White House is doing us all in! You may think you know suffering now. Just. Wait. Then of course there are the staffing clashes, Ezra Cohen-Watnick, the political lackey who has no business being on the National Security Council, and Obama holders Trump wanted fired for allegedly leaking and McMaster “balked,” and “refused to fire anyone on the list and asserted that he had the authority to fire and hire National Security Council staff.” That’s not just Trump-McMaster, that’s civil-military relations. The only conclusion: Trump has done untold damage that will take generations to repair to U.S. national security in not even four months in office.

From Bloomberg.

Pugnacious bully person who became Trump’s first campaign chief Corey Lewandowski parted ways with the firm he helped found last week, Avenue Strategies, when controversy erupted that it was lobbying on behalf of Citgo which is tied up in a mess over Venezuela’s debts to Rosneft. These debts might allow Rosneft to seize control of Citgo with significant U.S. assets. Senators wrote the Treasury and the President concerning the deal. Now POLITICO reports, “the lobbying firm that Corey Lewandowski and Barry Bennett founded after the election, has filed paperwork registering to lobby for Citgo”. Bravo for going semi-legit, we all know now this was Corey’s goal and his inability to meet his goals is invariably the fault of women and minorities, never his own unraveling. Bad women! Bad minorities!

In an op-ed in The New York Times, McCain recounts the hope Ronald Reagan as president gave Nathan Sharansky and other Soviet prisoners of conscience and how much then Governor Reagan of California championed McCain’s cause when he was a prisoner of war at the “Hanoi Hilton” in North Vietnam. In doing so, he breaks very publicly with Russian Order of Friendship medal recipient and U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, a very effective active measure against U.S. foreign policy. McCain criticizes Tillerson heavily for his unwillingness to champion human rights as Russia’s puppet in our State Department. “In a recent address to State Department employees, Secretary of State Rex Tillerson said conditioning our foreign policy too heavily on values creates obstacles to advance our national interests. With those words, Secretary Tillerson sent a message to oppressed people everywhere: Don’t look to the United States for hope. Our values make us sympathetic to your plight, and, when it’s convenient, we might officially express that sympathy. But we make policy to serve our interests, which are not related to our values. So, if you happen to be in the way of our forging relationships with your oppressors that could serve our security and economic interests, good luck to you. You’re on your own.” As if that was not partial reality before, but never mind, the underlying point is beyond valid. Why are these human rights so important, demand the realists, war criminals and Mafiosi? “By denying this experience, we deny the aspirations of billions of people, and invite their enduring resentment,” McCain writes. “They inhabit the human heart, and from there, though they may be abridged, they can never be extinguished.” Absolutely.
