The New York Times reports, “ Before arranging a meeting with a Kremlin-connected Russian lawyer he believed would offer him compromising information about Hillary Clinton, Donald Trump Jr. was informed in an email that the material was part of a Russian government effort to aid his father’s candidacy”. My god this kid is stupid, most remarkably because it was in writing and accepted. Then there is all the hammering at Hillary’s emails that the Trump traitor trash klan engaged in that the Kremlin stole and leaked through its proxy Julian Assange and WikiLeaks, which the press was a willing accomplice to. Also guess what: it means the Kremlin likely had access to this treasonous email too and did not release it. But her e-mails! According to The New York Times, “The email to the younger Mr. Trump was sent by Rob Goldstone, a publicist and former British tabloid reporter who helped broker the June 2016 meeting.” Goldstone’s e-mail “indicates that the Russian government was the source of the potentially damaging information”. The New York Times notes, “Mr. Goldstone represents the Russian pop star Emin Agalarov, whose father was President Trump’s business partner in bringing the Miss Universe pageant to Moscow in 2013. In an interview Monday, Mr. Goldstone said he was asked by Mr. Agalarov to set up the meeting with Donald Trump Jr. and the Russian lawyer, Natalia Veselnitskaya.” But is this easy enough for the American public, the part of the country that is not brainwashed anyhow, to understand? The guy’s name is Rob – that has to count for something? And he is white too! Bonus!

TRUMPISTAN WATCH is a bit beside itself over this one because back in January, there were indications that a Russian pop star of Azerbaijani origin, Emin Agalarov, and his father, Aras Agalarov, were deeply entrenched in this Kremlin collusion story. If anyone cared or listened, we could have been spared the last seven months of a free republic destroying free fall descent into a cancelled America now displaced by Trumpistan. Well, lo and behold seven months later out it comes, the first easy for the American public to understand evidence of collusion that connects Emin to the center of a web of treasonous collusion with the Kremlin. The New York Times reports, “the beauty competition in Moscow brought the Trump family into partnership with Emin Agalarov, a pop star in Russia, and his father, Aras — a duo that develops major real estate projects in Russia and appears friendly with the Kremlin.” Despite what Emin’s ex-wife, Leyla Aliyeva, the daughter of the president of Azerbaijan (think the Azeri Ivanka), once told a CNBC reporter, Emin is barely in real estate; he is in girls and music, ergo their divorce. The New York Times adds, “a publicist for the younger Agalarov said on Monday that it was his client who requested that Donald Trump Jr. speak with a Kremlin-connected lawyer during the presidential campaign.” There is so much missing from this New York Times report if you have been following Emin’s career as long as TRUMPISTAN WATCH has. For starters, there is way more than appearances here! Emin is a regular at the Ritz Moscow, for one. He also tweeted back in January, “While the world tries to figure out what Donald Trump was doing in a hotel in Moscow – I actually know”. The New York Times notes the father, Aras Agalarov, received a Russian Order of Honor award from Putin. Aras hosted a dinner with Russian state-run Sberbank head Herman Gref for Trump during the Miss Universe pageant. It was Emin’s manager Rob Goldstone who arranged the meeting with Donald Trump Jr. at Emin’s behest, so ergo, his father’s and the Kremlin’s. On Twitter, Trump said, “Emin was WOW!” That is one way to put it. There is so much more coming, suffice to say, if only Americans knew what it meant that Semion Mogilevich and Alimzhan Tokhtakhounov were running operations out of Trump Tower in the 1990s, we would not be in this mess. Wait for it and then blow up my phone and Twitter again. Also curious: Russian Order of Friendship medal recipient and U.S. Secretary of State T Rex met Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, the former father-in-law of Emin, in Istanbul at the World Petroleum Congress Monday, according to Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty. Makes you wonder if Aliyev’s former son-in-law Emin was a topic of discussion.

BuzzFeed reports, “Donald Trump Jr., under scrutiny amid revelations that he met last year with a Russian lawyer, has hired a New York criminal defense attorney with a practice that’s included high-profile organized crime and cybercrime cases.” When you are a mafia princeling you really want to go with a mafia lawyer, so Uday hired Alan Futerfas who “runs a small law firm in New York that focuses on white-collar investigations and prosecutions. Futerfas confirmed that he is representing Donald Trump Jr.” BuzzFeed notes, “News archives show that Futerfas has long represented clients with alleged ties to organized crime, including alleged members of the Bonanno, Gambino, Genovese, and Colombo crime families,” and now the Trump crime family. Why no Kremlin connections too? As a great friend texted last night, the mafia lawyers will get him off. TRUMPISTAN WATCH responded: but first he has to survive the Russians.

POLITICO reports, “President Donald Trump might not be willing to fully accept allegations that Russia interfered in last year’s presidential election, but Rep. Ruben Gallego is hoping that Congress is.” While hope never dies, hope in the Russia Party Republican controlled Congress is misplaced. Gallego “is seeking to force a House vote next week endorsing the January assessment by U.S. intelligence agencies that Russia waged a covert campaign, using hacking and propaganda, to damage Hillary Clinton and sway the election toward Trump.” When they are already drowning in Kremlin collusion, floating the Republican Party a life raft, may be futile. Nonetheless “Gallego is putting forward an amendment to the National Defense Authorization Act [NDAA] — a must-pass annual measure expected to come to the House floor as soon as next Wednesdaystating that Congress backs the intelligence community’s conclusions,” POLITICO reports. Of course, “his provision is not guaranteed a vote,” because “The House Rules Committee is meeting next week to decide which NDAA amendments — hundreds have been proposed so far — will be considered in order for debate. The Rules panel in the past has often discarded amendments viewed as contentious,” POLITICO notes. The NDAA is the Pentagon’s annual budget and it’s basically a season onto itself in D.C. defense circles.

Reuters reports, “Russian state development bank Vnesheconombank (VEB) plans to merge two commercial banks it owns, Globex Bank and Sviaz Bank, and sell the combined lender, VEB Chairman Sergey Gorkov said on Monday.” Recall Gorkov met with princeling Jared at Trump Tower last December to discuss wallpaper samples and nail polish, nothing sanctions or Clinton related because they would not dare. Just kidding, of course they would because they are effectively mobsters’ proxies (again, that effectively is there so the lawyers don’t bark). Recall as Reuters notes, “VEB is under Western sanctions over the Ukraine conflict and is selling assets.” Hope Russia enjoyed their military adventurism and nationalist booster because those days are behind it, or will soon be as they are getting crushed as the weight of the world is only getting heavier. VEB is not a real bank, it has no banking license; it’s under Putin’s control and effectively run as his personal slush fund. As such, “It has been grappling with a mountain of bad debt after financing projects such as construction at the Sochi Winter Olympics,” Reuters notes, adding, “VEB is still finalising the process of finding a buyer for the merged banks, Gorkov said, declining to name the potential buyer.” How would you like for you or your lawyer to end up in a body bag? Then, invest in Russia! Also aren’t Putin’s economic plans dreamy sounding, something every American could get behind? Eye roll, please.

Because Crimea is Ukraine and so is Luhansk and Donestk! Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty reports, “NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg has affirmed the alliance’s ‘unwavering support’ for Ukraine’s territorial integrity and has called on Russia to remove its ‘thousands of soldiers from Ukraine and stop supporting the militants with command-and-control and military equipment,’” after a meeting with Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko in Kiev on Monday.  Calling on Russia to stop being a brutal, murderous geopolitical nuisance is like calling for a kiss with no feeling; it is utterly unlikely. Unlike Russian Order of Friendship medal recipient and U.S. Secretary of State T Rex, “Stoltenberg also reaffirmed that NATO members do not accept Russia’s 2014 annexation of the Ukrainian region of Crimea.” In a nice dig to the menace next door, Russia, “Stoltenberg said that Ukraine has ‘the right to choose its own security arrangements,’ and added that ‘NATO’s doors remain open.’”

Stars and Stripes reports, “The U.S. military deployed Patriot missiles to Lithuania on Monday to take part in upcoming war games, marking the first such deployment of the sophisticated missile defense system,” according to the Lithuanian Defense Ministry. Great! The Lithuania Ministry of Defense said in a statement, “The arrival of the Patriots ‘demonstrates the steadfast U.S. commitment to the security of Lithuania and its high readiness to send strategic capabilities to the region,’” according to Stars and Stripes. “The Patriots will take part in multinational air defense drills dubbed Exercise Tobruq Legacy 2017, which runs until July 22,” Stars and Stripes reports. The combined arms exercise “will train NATO ground based air defense units to operate in conjunction with each other and refine airspace command and control procedure,” Stars and Stripes reports. Thanks to such positioning of the military alliance and materiel, you just do not hear too much talk of Novorossiya coming from the Kremlin these days, if any. Good! Down with Novorossiya before it can even be born.

The Baltic Times reports, “Yuri Gorsky, an organizer of ‘Russian Marches’, plans to apply for political asylum in Lithuania after fleeing Russia.” Gorsky, “who calls himself a nationalist, came to Lithuania via Belarus last week and currently has a valid visa,” The Baltic Times reports. He arrived in Lithuania on Sunday after the FSB “detained Gorsky in Moscow last Wednesday” on suspicions “of public calls for extremist activity.” His offence occurred “At a nationalist rally in May, he chanted ‘Ukraine — Maidan, Russia — Manezhnaya, barricades, tires, fire’ and ‘5.11.17 revolution.’” Time for a Moscow Maidan! August is coming! According to The Baltic Times, “Gorsky was placed under house arrest by a local court two days later.” Gorsky “said that he did not want to be held in political captivity,” because that is life in Russia, the world’s biggest prison. Anyone involved in street demonstrations in America, just remember that when you hear talk of how Russia is our friend.

Americans beware: this is your future. You know as soon as they touch Americans “right” to cheap gas, porn and reality TV trash, it’s all over, the republic is not merely cancelled then, it’s over. Now Vice reports, “Pornhub, the world’s biggest porn site, now requires users in Russia to log in using social media accounts linked to their passports and cell phones.” Oh, the horror! The inhumanity! But seriously, why might the FSB want to know who likes barely legal school girls and who enjoys two guys in leather? Do you know how Russia works? As a good friend who was videotaped by Russia in the early Putin years in his bedroom in a failed recruitment effort once remarked, “I was so grateful they filmed me at night, it was so much weirder during the day!” But they do not just videotape because they are perverts, which they are. See the video of Putin kissing the little boy’s stomach or the fact that they got a U.S. Embassy employee out of their country for the indiscretion of visiting a prostitute, which while not smart in Russia is actually not something the state videotapes for public release in a normal country. In Russia, the irony is double given the state only hires prostitutes. Vice, which is always on the porn and sex beat, reports, “Monday’s change is the latest chapter of an ongoing feud between Pornhub and the Russian government. The site was blocked in Russia last September”. In Russia, perverts are only allowed near the seat of power.

POLITICO reports, “Sinclair Broadcast Group is increasing the ‘must-run’ segments across its affiliates featuring former Trump White House official Boris Epshteyn to nine times a week,” because effective political messaging requires repetition of at least seven to eight times and what is one more thrown in for good measure? Americans have proven themselves to be to very susceptible brainwashing of all kinds, so long as it fits conveniently in the schema of pre-existing beliefs, whether far right or far left, no matter, it will do! POLITICO notes, “The move comes as the company is seeking to dramatically expand its holdings by purchasing Tribune Media for $3.9 billion, which would make it the largest local television operator in the country, with more than 200 stations.” POLITICO notes, “Epshteyn’s segments are ‘must runs,’ so all the Sinclair stations across the country will air them along with their other ‘must-run’ segments including conservative commentary from Mark Hyman and the Terrorism Alert Desk segments.” As “Epshteyn reliably parrots the White House’s point of view on most issues,” his commentaries are generally variations of “Obey the God Emperor,” and “the God Emperor commands you to obey.” Rich, nuanced material, in other words. Please note, “Last month, POLITICO reported that Frederick G. Smith, vice president and director of Sinclair Broadcasting, sent a contribution to Montana’s Republican representative Greg Gianforte on the day after Gianforte was charged with assault for putting a ‘body slam’ on a reporter for The Guardian.”
