Deutsche Welle reports, “The US president will on Friday address the World Economic Forum meeting in Davos, where he’s rubbing shoulders with the globalists his ‘America First’ rhetoric has long since railed against. US President Donald Trump will give a speech at the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum in Davos on Friday, having arrived at the Swiss ski resort on Thursday.” Deutsche Welle adds, “Trump is scheduled to address the Davos forum on Friday afternoon around 2pm local time (8am EST). Before leaving Washington for Davos on Wednesday evening, Trump tweeted to his 47 million followers that he was going to Davos ‘to tell the world how great America is and is doing.’” Trumpistan can stand on its head, only the markets and those who look forward to a future of enslaving their fellow men can be cheering the debacle that is the Trump trash klan’s tenure in the White House. Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty reports, “U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson will meet Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko and other leaders on January 26 in Davos, Switzerland.”

Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty reports, “In his meeting with Surkov, set for January 26 in the Persian Gulf city of Dubai, [U.S. Envoy for Ukraine Kurt] Volker said he was planning to reiterate the U.S. position on the Ukraine conflict: that Moscow withdraw its forces and its ‘proxy entities,’ allow for a UN peacekeeping force, help create security on the ground, and then help fulfil the Minsk accords.” Volker told Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty’s Ukrainian service on January 24, “I think the Minsk agreements contain all the elements necessary for this to be resolved. What is lacking is not the content, what’s lacking is political will”. Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty notes, “The last time Volker and Surkov met was in November. At that time, Surkov said that the U.S. side had presented 29 proposals on the peacekeeping plan but that Russia had found only three of them ‘acceptable.’”

The New York Times reports, “President Trump ordered the firing last June of Robert S. Mueller III, the special counsel overseeing the Russia investigation,” however the fake president, “ultimately backed down after the White House counsel threatened to resign rather than carry out the directive.” The New York Times adds, “The West Wing confrontation marks the first time Mr. Trump is known to have tried to fire the special counsel. Mr. Mueller learned about the episode in recent months as his investigators interviewed current and former senior White House officials in his inquiry into whether the president obstructed justice.” Count the number of times we know of that Trump has tried to obstruct justice! The New York Times notes, “Amid the first wave of news media reports that Mr. Mueller was examining a possible obstruction case, the president began to argue that Mr. Mueller had three conflicts of interest that disqualified him from overseeing the investigation”. Because The New York Times likes to give a fair hearing to far right extremists at the expense of just about everyone else, the paper of broken normalizing record notes, “First, he claimed that a dispute years ago over fees at Trump National Golf Club in Sterling, Va., had prompted Mr. Mueller, the F.B.I. director at the time, to resign his membership. The president also said Mr. Mueller could not be impartial because he had most recently worked for the law firm that previously represented the president’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner. Finally, the president said, Mr. Mueller had been interviewed to return as the F.B.I. director the day before he was appointed special counsel in May.”  The New York Times continues, “Mr. McGahn disagreed with the president’s case and told senior White House officials that firing Mr. Mueller would have a catastrophic effect on Mr. Trump’s presidency. Mr. McGahn also told White House officials that Mr. Trump would not follow through on the dismissal on his own. The president then backed off.” The New York Times adds, “Another option that Mr. Trump considered in discussions with his advisers was dismissing the deputy attorney general, Rod J. Rosenstein, and elevating the Justice Department’s No. 3 official, Rachel Brand, to oversee Mr. Mueller.”

From The New York Times.

Bloomberg reports, “Special Counsel Robert Mueller is moving at a far faster pace than previously known and appears to be wrapping up at least one key part of his investigation — whether President Donald Trump obstructed justice”. Bloombrg adds, “Even if Mueller wraps up the obstruction probe, other elements of his investigation — such as whether Trump or anyone close to him helped Russia interfere in the 2016 presidential election or broke any other laws — are likely to continue for months more”.

From Bloomberg.

ABC News reports, “More than 20 White House employees have given interviews to the special counsel in his probe of possible obstruction of justice and Trump campaign ties to Russian election interference,” according to a “document, released Thursday by President Donald Trump’s attorney John Dowd,” that “details what the White House calls its unprecedented cooperation with Robert Mueller’s investigation, including that it has turned over more than 20,000 pages of records. The president’s 2016 campaign has turned over more than 1.4 million pages.” ABC News adds, “However, the number of voluntary interviews, including eight people from the White House counsel’s office, also suggests the scope of Mueller’s work so far. And the document confirms Mueller’s interest in the circumstances surrounding two men the president fired: former FBI Director James Comey and former national security adviser Michael Flynn.”

The Washington Post reports, “The Senate Judiciary Committee intends to release transcripts of its interviews with President Trump’s son Donald Trump Jr., and others who participated in a June 2016 meeting at Trump Tower with a Russian lawyer allegedly promising damaging information about Hillary Clinton.” The Washington Post adds, “Chairman Charles E. Grassley (R-Iowa) said Thursday that the committee would disclose ‘all witness interviews that we have done related to that meeting,’ making them available to the public ‘for everyone to see.’ The committee’s interviews, which were conducted behind closed doors, are complete, he added.” The Washington Post notes, “Grassley said the transcripts must be redacted first. It was not immediately clear when that process will be complete. Two of the five transcripts still require legal vetting as well, he said.”

From The Washington Post.

The Washington Post reports Senator Chuck “Grassley said Thursday that the panel’s ‘chances of getting a voluntary interview with Mr. Kushner has been shot,’ and blamed Feinstein for having ‘spooked’ potential witnesses when she unilaterally released the transcript of the panel’s interview with Fusion GPS founder Glenn Simpson. Simpson and his company were involved in producing a now-famous dossier detailing alleged ties between Trump and the Kremlin.” Hey kid, we, the American people, are all spooked by you, your presence in the White House, and the Daddy-in-law you serve after yourself. Learn to deal with it, kid!

De Volkskrant reports, “Hackers from the Dutch intelligence service AIVD have provided the FBI with crucial information about Russian interference with the American elections. For years, AIVD had access to the infamous Russian hacker group Cozy Bear,” even their internal security camera, and all visitors were photographed. De Volkskrant adds, “It’s the summer of 2014. A hacker from the Dutch intelligence agency AIVD has penetrated the computer network of a university building next to the Red Square in Moscow, oblivious to the implications. One year later, from the AIVD headquarters in Zoetermeer, he and his colleagues witness Russian hackers launching an attack on the Democratic Party in the United States. The AIVD hackers had not infiltrated just any building; they were in the computer network of the infamous Russian hacker group Cozy Bear. And unbeknownst to the Russians, they could see everything.” Allies: they are important! De Volkskrant notes, “That’s how the AIVD becomes witness to the Russian hackers harassing and penetrating the leaders of the Democratic Party, transferring thousands of emails and documents. It won’t be the last time they alert their American counterparts. And yet, it will be months before the United States realize what this warning means: that with these hacks the Russians have interfered with the American elections.” De Volkskrant claims, “It’s also grounds for the FBI to start an investigation into the influence of the Russian interference on the election race between the Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton and the Republican candidate Donald Trump,” not the Steele dossier, not George Papadopoulos at the Kensington Wine Rooms in London blabbing to an Australian diplomat. How will the death cult GOP spin this now? Are the Dutch in the Illuminati Secret Society along with the FBI now? Add this article to the top of your must read pile.

Reuters reports, “Major global technology providers SAP (SAPG.DE), Symantec (SYMC.O) and McAfee have allowed Russian authorities to hunt for vulnerabilities in software deeply embedded across the U.S. government”. Reuters adds, “The practice potentially jeopardizes the security of computer networks in at least a dozen federal agencies, U.S. lawmakers and security experts said. It involves more companies and a broader swath of the government than previously reported.” Why? Why do you think? Money. Reuters notes, “In order to sell in the Russian market, the tech companies let a Russian defense agency scour the inner workings, or source code, of some of their products. Russian authorities say the reviews are necessary to detect flaws that could be exploited by hackers.” Of course, “those same products protect some of the most sensitive areas of the U.S government, including the Pentagon, NASA, the State Department, the FBI and the intelligence community, against hacking by sophisticated cyber adversaries like Russia.” Not any more! Recall in October, Reuters reported, “that Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE.N) software known as ArcSight, used to help secure the Pentagon’s computers, had been reviewed by a Russian military contractor with close ties to Russia’s security services. Now, a Reuters review of hundreds of U.S. federal procurement documents and Russian regulatory records shows that the potential risks to the U.S. government from Russian source code reviews are more widespread.” We once had a great country but our ignorance, arrogance, short sightedness and sheer greed let that all slip away. Reuters adds, “Beyond the Pentagon, ArcSight is used in at least seven other agencies, including the Office of the Director of National Intelligence and the State Department’s intelligence unit, the review showed. Additionally, products made by SAP, Symantec and McAfee and reviewed by Russian authorities are used in at least eight agencies. Some agencies use more than one of the four products.” The empire has no security.

Reuters reports, “Facebook Inc said Russian agents created 129 events on the social media network during the 2016 U.S. election campaign, according to testimony to Congress”. Our friends! Reuters adds, “Facebook, in a written statement to U.S. lawmakers released on Thursday and dated Jan. 8, said that 338,300 different Facebook accounts viewed the events and that 62,500 marked that they would attend. The company said it did not have data about which of the events took place.” By contrast, “Facebook, the world’s largest social media network, said in September only that Russians had created ‘several promoted events.’” Reuters notes, “Copies of the event pages that have surfaced since then show that at least some of them were political rallies centered on divisive subjects, such as immigration.”

CNBC reports, Fakebook “admitted this month that it recommended content produced by Russian operatives to some users, the latest acknowledgment that it underestimated how extensively foreign actors manipulated its platform around the time of the 2016 presidential election.” Suddenly! The data just fell from the sky! Upon retrieval of the data, more than a year after the fact, Fakebook conceded to the Senate intelligence committee, “This happened in some cases. That is good for the lolz and not much else. CNBC adds, “The letter, dated Jan. 8, was made public on Thursday.”

The Daily Beast reports, “More than 1,000 now-deleted Twitter accounts attributed by the company to a Kremlin-connected troll farm are now in the hands of legislators investigating Russian interference in the 2016 elections. For the second time in three months, it’s unclear if the public will know if the inflammatory strangers they—and potentially members of the Trump campaign—retweeted and liked were actually Russian imposters.” The Daily Beast notes this “brings the total imposter Twitter accounts discovered by the company thus far up to 3,814.”

NBC News reports, “The person who transmitted a false missile alarm that terrorized the state of Hawaii this month is not currently cooperating with the Federal Communication Commission investigation, an FCC official said Thursday.” Foreign intelligence ties? The Chief of the FCC’s Public Safety & Homeland Security Bureau Lisa Fowlkes told a Senate committee, “We hope that person will reconsider”. Because we are all learning together as a nation that our security state is complete bullshit theater, “Fowlkes called the false alert ‘absolutely unacceptable’ and said that the Hawaii Emergency Management Agency is working with its vendor to put in place technical safeguards, and has since required that two people sign off on any tests or alerts.” The fact that this was not in place in the first instance tells you as much about the brains behind our security theater of the absurd as government agencies putting Kaspersky spyware on their computers.

BuzzFeed reports, “A government-ethics group on Thursday accused House Intelligence Committee chair Devin Nunes of improperly leaking information about the company behind the intelligence dossier concerning President Donald Trump and Russia. The six-page complaint filed by the Campaign for Accountability charges that Nunes, a California Republican, violated House ethics rules in October when he allegedly gave journalists private information about Fusion GPS in retaliation for the firm’s work. The complaint does not state definitively that Nunes leaked information, but says instead in several instances that ‘it appears’ Nunes or his staff was the source”. BuzzFeed notes, “The complaint was filed with the Office of Congressional Ethics and came seven weeks after the House Ethics Committee cleared Nunes in an earlier probe over his alleged leak of classified information. The nonpartisan ethics office does preliminary investigations and refers cases for full investigation to the ethics committee.”

CNN reports, “Paul Manafort’s attorneys appear to have mistakenly made public some of their notes about a strategy they may use to attack Robert Mueller’s special counsel office. The one page of bullet points and sentence fragments, titled ‘DOJ, OSC AND THE PRESS’ sketches a connection between information obtained by both Mueller’s office and the Associated Press, alleging an exchange of information.” Maybe this was not a mistake given the right wing attack press machine is spinning such similar tales in overdrive? While CNN writes, “The rogue note was attached to an apparently unrelated court filing Wednesday afternoon that asks the judge overseeing Manafort’s criminal case to consider a change to proposed deadlines”. The willingness to run with just about any drop of covfefe means this was more likely by design. Let’s look at the contents and assess, shall we? CNN reports, “One part of the note describes how Maloni turned over two memos from Paul Manafort to the Ukrainian billionaire Rinat Akhmetov as part of a subpoena. The note then says, ‘memos received by Maloni from the AP,’ suggesting that documents obtained by the special counsel’s office ended up in the Associates Press’ hands.” Oh how rogue and off message! CNN continues, “Further down, the note describes how the Associated Press reporter saw electronic files from Manafort’s company on a hard drive. An employee of Manafort’s company allowed the reporter to see a copy of the hard drive, the note said. The government then seized that hard drive, the note said.” Oh so rogue! CNN adds, “The exchange of information, according to the note, culminated with an Associated Press story in April 2017 that asserted Manafort received two ‘off-the-books’ payments from a pro-Russia political party in Ukraine for which he consulted.” You know who sued the AP over this already? Ukrainian oligarch Oleg Deripaska aligned with said pro-Russia political party, the Party of Regions, who provided the alleged payments and whose lawsuit against the AP was thrown out of court by the judge last year. If this is rogue than TRUMPISTAN WATCH advises CNN to look up the very definition of rogue before misusing it again. If they are looking to sex up their headlines and stories why not just go for bikini girls?

The AP reports on the fallout after China Labor Watch sent two men undercover to report on conditions at the factory in China where Aryan princess Ivanka’s brand manufactures its crappy clothing. The AP reports, “The group obtained a video of a manager berating a worker for apparently arranging shoes in the wrong order. ‘If I see them f—ing messed up again,’ the manager yells, ‘I’ll beat you right here.’ Another worker was left with blood dripping from his head after a manager hit him with the sharp end of a high heeled shoe”. The Huajian Group, which runs the factory in Ganzhou, denied all the allegations as ‘completely not true to the facts, taken out of context, exaggerated.’ In April, China Labor Watch laid out its initial findings in a letter to Ivanka Trump at the White House. She did not respond.” Please some compassion, she was far too busy living the high life and play-acting at VIP alongside her husband, princeling Jared! As the result of this and other investigations targeting foreign companies that have enriched Chinese government officials at the expense of China’s work force, “At the end of May, three China Labor Watch investigators were arrested, accused of illegally using secret cameras and listening devices.” Naturally, “Ivanka Trump — and her brand — said nothing about the arrests.” While the Aryan princess Ivanka remained silent, “On June 5, the U.S. State Department called for the immediate release of the three China Labor Watch investigators.” The AP adds, one of the activists, “Li Qiang wrote to Ivanka Trump at the White House on June 6, describing what he called ‘extreme working conditions’ in her supply chain. ‘Your words and deeds can make a difference in these workers’ lives,’ he wrote. He got no reply.” The AP notes, “The brand said its shoes had not been produced at the Huajian factory since March, though China Labor Watch obtained an April production schedule for nearly 1,000 pairs of Ivanka Trump shoes due in May. In late June, after 30 days in jail, the three China Labor Watch investigators were released on bail.”

The AP reports, “The family real estate company once run by Jared Kushner is no longer seeking $150 million from Chinese investors for a New Jersey building project after months of criticism that the company was playing up its White House ties to raise the money.” The AP adds, “the company has stopped trying to raise money from wealthy Chinese to help pay for One Journal Square, a planned 66-story residential, retail and office complex in Jersey City, New Jersey, just across the Hudson River from lower Manhattan.” The Washington Post recalls, “Ethics experts blasted the Kushner Cos. last May after Jared Kushner’s sister, Nicole Kushner Meyer, mentioned her brother at a presentation to prospective investors in Shanghai. The presentation included a photo of Donald Trump, and Chinese ads included vague promises that the project had ‘government support’ and was ‘founded by celebrity developers.’ The company, which canceled other appearances in the country, denied it was seeking to benefit from its White House ties.” But they were! The ethics of this family and their record of lies and bullshit should leave you with many doubts about the veracity of this report and any that suggestions that money cares who owns it or the Kushners care who owns them.

Bloomberg reports, “During his courtship and marriage, Kirill Shamalov catapulted into the ranks of the super-rich with a little help from some of the closest allies of his father-in-law: Russian President Vladimir Putin. But now Shamalov’s matrimonial alliance with Putin’s youngest daughter, Katerina Tikhonova, is over”. The money involved in Bernie Ecclestone’s daughter divorcing is now, like, minor news. Bloomberg notes, “The son of an old Putin pal is back working as a senior executive for the same petrochemical giant, Sibur, where his rise and fall as a multibillion-dollar owner coincided with his stint in Russia’s First Family. The reversal of fortune offers a rare glimpse into the secretive ways Putin’s inner circle mixes family, friends and finance.” Bloomberg adds, “Shamalov’s brief tenure as a captain of industry started in 2012, around the time he was preparing to wed. Sibur’s main owners,  Leonid Mikhelson and Gennady Timchenko, promoted their vice president for business administration to deputy chief executive officer and then awarded him 4.3 percent of the company. In 2014, with a loan from Gazprombank, he acquired another 17 percent from Timchenko for about $2.2 billion. He was 32.” Bloomberg continues, “Then Sibur announced last April that Shamalov had sold the shares he bought from Timchenko to Mikhelson. Though the details of the deal and the reasoning behind it were never disclosed, a person familiar with the transaction said Shamalov made ‘zero’ from the sale because he was only allowed to hold those shares in a kind of trust as a Putin family member.” However, Bloomberg reports, “Separating from the Putin family hasn’t been a total loss for Shamalov, who’s worth about $800 million.” That is enough to keep quiet about the family’s hidden wealth and other private secrets. Bloomberg notes, “This estimate doesn’t take into account any interest Shamalov might have paid on the Gazprombank loan or any changes to his marital status. Under Russian law, former spouses are entitled to half of all assets accrued during marriage unless a prenuptial agreement was signed.” A pre-nup is probably unnecessary in such a case if you know your in-laws are the mafia state and they can knee cap you or do whatever they damn please with your life.

The New York Post’s Page Six reports, “The White House insisted journalist Julia Ioffe be fired from the Atlantic for a rude tweet about Ivanka Trump — but it backfired. The tweet read, ‘Either Trump is f - - king his daughter or he’s shirking nepotism laws.’” At the time, TRUMPISTAN WATCH saw no problem with the tweet and still does not. POLITICO, however, did fire Ioffe over the Tweet because you should never let common sense get in the way of gluing your lips to the ass of those in power. Page Six adds, “In his book ‘Media Madness,’ Howard Kurtz writes that Sean Spicer called Atlantic editor Jeffrey Goldberg asking for Ioffe’s head, but was told, ‘Haven’t you said some stupid s - - t in your life?’” And Goldberg said this before Spicer told the world Hitler never used chemical weapons in his “Holocaust centers” – talk about foresight!

BuzzFeed reports, “The financier and philanthropist George Soros joined the rising attacks on Facebook and Google Thursday night, calling for ‘more stringent regulations’ on the tech giants. Soros referred to the companies as a ‘menace’ and denounced ‘the rise and monopolistic behavior of the giant IT platform companies,’ which he described as ‘ever more powerful monopolies,’ hurting competitors and societies alike.” Soros continued, “They claim they are merely distributing information. But the fact that they are near- monopoly distributors makes them public utilities and should subject them to more stringent regulations, aimed at preserving competition, innovation, and fair and open universal access”. He noted, “There could be an alliance between authoritarian states and these large, data-rich IT monopolies that would bring together nascent systems of corporate surveillance with an already developed system of state-sponsored surveillance,” which is already happening in many places it seems. Soros said, “This may well result in a web of totalitarian control the likes of which not even Aldous Huxley or George Orwell could have imagined,” and noted Trump is trying to establish a “mafia state” à la russe. TRUMPISTAN WATCH still maintains this Surkovian form of information warfare of the present moment is more Brave New World than 1984, for now. People are too indifferent that obedience is not really necessary.

Business Insider reports, “Fox News host Shepard Smith slammed Republican Rep. Devin Nunes on Thursday for pushing the narrative that the FBI and the Department of Justice are biased against President Donald Trump. Nunes, the chair of the House Intelligence Committee, helped write a controversial memo that purports to detail illegal surveillance by the Obama administration during the transition period after Trump’s 2016 election.” Business Insider adds, “‘A memo can be a weapon of partisan mass distraction,’ Smith said on his daytime news program, ‘Shepard Smith Reporting.’ ‘Especially at a pivotal moment in American history when it behooves the man in charge for supporters to believe the institutions can’t be trusted, investigators are corrupt, and the news media are liars. Context matters.’” Basically everything else the network is telling its viewers is bullshit, Smith concedes.

Peeter Tali, “It is interesting to see though that the Kremlin is very active regarding Sweden, and this activity is on the increase”. The Washington Post reports, “The Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists advanced the symbolic Doomsday Clock a notch closer to the end of humanity Thursday, moving it ahead by 30 seconds after what the organization called a ‘grim assessment’ of the state of geopolitical affairs.” The Washington Post adds, “In moving the clock forward, the group cited ‘the failure of President Trump and other world leaders to deal with looming threats of nuclear war and climate change.’” The Washington Post notes there is “a litany of grim developments over the past year: North Korea made rapid progress in developing a thermonuclear weapon capable of reaching the United States. Relations between the United States and Russia deteriorated, with no high-level arms control negotiations happening between the two countries. Nations around the world have moved to modernize and enhance their nuclear arsenals. Meanwhile, Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un have engaged in a my-nuclear-button-is-bigger-than-yours war of words.”

The Washington Post reports, “The emailed response from the Guggenheim’s chief curator to the White House was polite but firm: The museum could not accommodate a request to borrow a painting by Vincent van Gogh for President and Melania Trump’s private living quarters. Instead, wrote the curator, Nancy Spector, another piece was available, one that was nothing like ‘Landscape with Snow,’ the 1888 van Gogh rendering of a man in a black hat walking along a path in Arles, France, with his dog. The curator’s alternative: an 18-karat, fully functioning, solid gold toilet — an interactive work titled ‘America’ that critics have described as pointed satire aimed at the excess of wealth in this country.” Actually, it is about more than wealth disparity but also the tastes of a nation where trash like Trump could get 60 million votes. Also, the work is much more appropriate given what Trump’s own personal tastes are (gawdy, golden, trash)! The Washington Post notes, “The White House did not respond to inquiries about the matter.” If it is not suitable for the Trump Whites Only Haus, perhaps it could go to Ivanka, who is also worthy as a supreme piece of work herself.

The Hill reports, “First lady Melania Trump visited the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, D.C., on Thursday ahead of International Holocaust Remembrance Day on Saturday.” Maybe she needed the reminder of where her racist trash husband can take things along with his asshole benefactors in Russia? Or maybe it is pings of a conscience? After all, TRUMPISTAN WATCH has long maintained she is the smartest of all of the Trump trash for being the most reluctant. She also survived the break up of the Yugoslavia and coming to the west as she did, selling sex, means she has quite the repertoire of experience to draw from, experience of the sort that evades those with inherited privilege. The Hill adds, “Trump received a tour of the museum and participated in a moment of silence at the eternal flame in the Hall of Remembrance. She also lit a candle at the museum’s prayer wall.” In a statement, she said, “My thoughts and prayers are with the people whose lives and families were broken by the horrors of the Holocaust”. Walls, families broken apart… this is familiar material, is it not? The Hill notes, “Holocaust Remembrance Day falls on the one-year anniversary of President Trump‘s first travel ban, an executive order that various Jewish groups criticized.”

Russian state-run RT reports, “A ‘morality council’ should be set up to decide which movies are allowed in Russian cinemas, considering the ‘infowar’ being waged against the country, an MP said, amid the scandal over black comedy film ‘The Death of Stalin’.” If that lead does not cause you to laugh aloud, then what TRUMPISTAN WATCHians will? But there is more! Russian state-run RT adds, “‘In the current conditions of an information war, we should start living in accordance with wartime laws,’ Elena Drapeko, the deputy head of the Russian State Duma’s Committee for Culture, said.” She goes on, “Of course, in a calm environment – when there are no attempts to destroy us in sports and the economy – we could be complacent and friendly to everything that is being sent to us. But now – when one provocation follows another – I believe that we should give it some thought and limit the possibilities of dissemination of information that is detrimental to the morality and security of our country. Russia: they can dish it, but they cannot take it! Also an acknowledgement the state is officially pro-genocide and lies and anti-humor. For his part, the director of “The Death of Stalin” Armando Iannucci said, “All the Russians we’ve shown the film to so far, including the Russian press, have said how much they enjoyed and appreciated the film. They say two things: it’s funny, but it’s true. TRUMPISTAN WATCH has little doubt this is true of the proud little liars in the Duma and Culture Ministry too but they have public appearances to maintain and probably looked over their shoulder every time they laughed. Meanwhile, The Moscow Times reports, “The Kremlin has said Russia’s Culture Ministry did not exercise censorship when it revoked the screening license of a satire on the death of Soviet dictator Josef Stalin.” If this is what it takes to put the Russian mafia state in a straight jacket, well, let’s just say it is not much at all. Imagine what real sanctions can do.
