CNN reports, “The House Intelligence Committee has scheduled a Thursday meeting to hear testimony from Steve Bannon — but it’s an open question whether President Donald Trump’s former chief strategist will even show up. The White House sent a letter to Capitol Hill late Wednesday laying out its explanation for why Trump’s transition period falls under its authority to assert executive privilege, a move intended to shield Bannon from answering questions about that time period”. CNN adds, “House members from both parties have so far rejected that broad interpretation of executive privilege, raising the stakes for Bannon‘s standoff with Congress. Lawmakers from both parties say Bannon should be held in contempt if he fails to appear for the scheduled interview Thursday morning, a date that has already been pushed back three times”. CNN notes, “A source familiar with Bannon‘s thinking had said previously that he was prepared to be held in contempt for defying the House panel. But it’s unclear whether he’ll show Thursday, and his attorney did not respond to an inquiry.”

The Washington Post reports, “Two people were in federal custody Wednesday, and three people were recovering from injuries after authorities said the driver of a rented sport utility vehicle tried to enter a secured area of the top-secret National Security Agency. Authorities quickly concluded the incident was not terrorism. In late afternoon, an FBI spokesman said one theory being investigated is whether the driver mistakenly turned onto a restricted parkway exit and panicked when he saw heavily armed police.” TRUMPISTAN WATCH has accidentally driven into the Pentagon lot en route to Reagan National Airport; at least three vehicles, albeit no visibly armed law enforcement personnel appeared to point TRUMPISTAN WATCH towards an exit back onto the highway, but that was during the wee hours of the morning, not the start of business. The Washington Post notes, “Other aspects of the inquiry were either not divulged or not yet known, including who fired gunshots into the SUV’s windshield and how the vehicle crashed into a concrete barrier and wound up facing oncoming traffic headed into a parking lot.” The Washington Post adds, “In addition to the hospitalized driver, whose condition officials did not reveal, an NSA police officer and a bystander were hurt, although not seriously. Those injuries occurred shortly before 7 a.m. during a confrontation at a visitors gate to the sprawling listening post on Fort George G. Meade, off the Baltimore Washington Parkway and Md. Route 32. Television images showed a black SUV with bullet holes in its windshield.” The Washington Post notes, “It is not uncommon for motorists to take an exit in error from the parkway and end up at the NSA. A brown sign at the exit, similar to those used to mark national parks, says ‘NSA’ and has an arrow pointing up the ramp to the site. Below the ‘NSA,’ in large type, the sign states “Restricted Entrance. Most drivers who wrongly take the exit are turned back by heavily armed police.” The Washington Post adds, “At least one person was seen in handcuffs shortly after the incident ended.”

CNN reports, “Nearly a year into President Donald Trump’s administration, senior-level staffers — including Ivanka Trump, Jared Kushner and Rob Porter — remained on interim clearances even as other senior advisers were granted full security access”. CNN adds, “There were more than 100 staffers in the Executive Office of the President who were operating on interim clearances more than a year after Trump was elected”. The list of those without clearances also includes, “Don McGahn, the White House counsel, and Sarah Sanders, the press secretary.” CNN adds, “Other notable staffers, like former NBC ‘Apprentice’ star Omarosa Manigault-Newman, who has since left the White House, had no security clearance nor applied for one.” This report comes after Reuters reported earlier in the day, “The head of the U.S. House Oversight Committee has asked the White House for details about its security clearance procedures as part of an investigation by the panel into the issue after two former aides of President Donald Trump departed last week amid abuse allegations. In a letter to White House chief of staff, John Kelly, the panel’s Republican chairman Trey Gowdy said it was ‘investigating the policies and processes by which interim security clearances are investigated and adjudicated’ and asked for the White House to respond by Feb. 28.”

Axios reports, “Vice President Mike Pence said that foreign interference didn’t impact the results of the 2016 presidential election — and that Americans ‘can be confident’ in the election results at an Axios event Wednesday afternoon. He did, however, admit that ‘there were efforts by Russia’ to impact the election and highlighted forthcoming efforts for a ‘hardening’ of election infrastructure.” At no point does Axios do its journalistic duty and assert that both of these contentions – that 2016 was a real election, that infrastructure is being hardened – are total fucking lies, that Mike Pence is a liar or that none of what he says here is true. Nope, like dutiful servants of power, they let this bullshit stand unchallenged. Reminder to all colleagues: when they go low, your job is to remind them they are knocking from below. Luckily New York Magazine exists to show Axios how it is done. Observe New York Magazine placed, “He Is Lying,” in the headline – as it should be. New York Magazine even pulls a nasty lying quote too: “it is the universal conclusion of our intelligence communities that none of those efforts had any impact on the outcome of the 2016 election.” FALSE. BULLSHIT. LIES.

CNN reports, “Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin said Wednesday the Trump administration is ‘actively working’ on imposing sanctions on Russia over its interference in the 2016 US election.” No one with any youth or dignity believes that. CNN adds, “‘We are actively working on Russia sanctions coming out of the classified briefing,’ Mnuchin told lawmakers on the Senate Finance Committee, where he was testifying on the President’s 2019 budget.” Good thing too because TRUMPISTAN WATCH just sent a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request to get the real sanctions list that they subbed out at the eleventh hour for a joke of a list comprised of the Forbes rich list in Russia and the Kremlin’s phone book. Meanwhile smirkin’, lyin’ Mnuchin told Congress, “‘I can assure you those sanctions are coming,’ Mnuchin said. ‘We are working on them as we speak.’” Sorry dood, but time’s up! They were due last month and Treasury buckled and failed the American people – but not Trump’s Russian mafia state sponsors! As CNN notes, “The Trump administration didn’t levy a single sanction on Jan. 29, the first day it could have under the Countering America’s Adversaries Through Sanctions Act.” Draining the swamp did one thing: it hastened the search for bottom feeders.

The Guardian reports, “Adam Schiff, the top Democrat on the House intelligence committee, said Wednesday that the panel had seen an ‘abundance’ of evidence of collusion with Russia and obstruction by Donald Trump’s campaign and administration that is not yet public.” The Guardian adds, “Schiff said a lot of information was already in the public domain that pointed to extensive contacts between the Trump campaign team and the Kremlin, and later efforts by the Trump entourage to cover up those contacts. But Schiff said there was much more to come out.” Stay tuned!

From The Guardian.

POLITICO reports, “The top Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee suggested Wednesday that the FBI and the Justice Department are asking for excessive redactions from a memo written by Democrats to rebut GOP assertions that the FBI unlawfully spied on a Trump campaign adviser. Rep. Adam Schiff said FBI and Justice Department officials have flagged ‘everything that isn’t already a matter of public record’ from the memo, whose release President Donald Trump blocked last week on national security grounds.” POLITICO adds, “Speaking at a Christian Science Monitor breakfast in Washington, Schiff speculated that ‘the White House must have asked’ the FBI and Justice Department to raise these broad concerns.” Now here is your danger sign: “Schiff emphasized that the FBI hadn’t objected to the facts in the Democratic memo and said that everything the bureau wanted removed from his memo would have provided facts that the GOP memo excluded.” Facts!? They belong to an earlier, beautiful American iteration of the shithole republic of Trumpistan.

Axios reports, “Former National Security Advisor Susan Rice’s attorney Kathryn Ruemmler has fired back at Republicans questioning the motives and completeness of an email purporting to document a meeting between some of then-President Obama’s top officials. She denied that meeting discussed the Steele dossier, a specter raised by the chair of the Senate Judiciary committee as he sought information about the email.”

From Axios.

The Telegraph reports Senator “Charles Grassley, the Republican senator who chairs the judiciary committee, demanded to know whether Mr [Oleg] Deripaska had ever hired Mr Steele in a letter sent to his London-based lawyers. It was written after leaked texts showed that a lobbyist linked to Mr Deripaska offered to arrange a conversation with Mr Steele to a congressman after the US election. Earlier this week the head of the FBI declined to answer whether Mr Steele had worked for Mr Deripaska when asked during a public committee hearing.” The Telegraph adds, “The letter came after texts between Mark Warner, the leading Democrat senator on the intelligence committee, and Adam Waldman, a lobbyist with connections to Mr Deripaska, were leaked. The pair’s exchange, published by Fox News, shows Mr Waldman appearing to act on behalf of Mr Steele and attempting to arrange a conversation after the election.” The Telegraph notes, “In the lengthy, and friendly, text exchanges Mr Waldman also suggested to Mr Warner that he could arrange a meeting with Mr Deripaska.” As for the leak, “The text messages were disclosed by Mr Warner to his own committee, many months later, in October. It came as various congressional committees attempted to hear Mr Steele’s side of the story.” Some leak! Also this would seem to suggest, if true and verifiable something TRUMPISTAN WATCH has long maintained, namely the Russian mafia state does not care about Trump, it cares about maximizing chaos and blowing up the American way of life. Once every nation is as poor and shitty as Russia or better yet, poorer, then there will be peace on earth — so the Russian mafia state’s very unevolved thinking goes.

The Daily Beast reports Senate “Republican and Democratic staffers there have spoken with numerous people who worked in the State Department under then-Secretary of State John Kerry. Tom Malinowski, who was Kerry’s assistant secretary of state for Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor, told The Daily Beast that he spoke with Senate investigators. He said the meeting was informational and conversational”. Additionally, “Committee staff have also spoken with Jon Finer, Kerry’s chief of staff at State,” and “Victoria Nuland, assistant secretary for European and Eurasian affairs”. Perhaps this is why DARKNESS AT NUNES is directing his ire at the State Department nowadays?

Defense News reports, “The United States and Germany have volunteered to host the two new commands being set up by NATO, part of a broader change in NATO’s structure that could see over 1,000 new personnel added to the alliance headquarters staff.” Defense News adds, “America has tentatively agreed to host the new Atlantic Command, created to help track submarines and protect shipping lanes across the ocean. That office would be structured as a NATO force structure headquarters, meaning it would be a national office run by the Americans until activated by NATO in a time of crisis, at which point command would devolve to the supreme commander.” Defense News continues, “Germany has offered to host the Joint Support and Enabling Command (JSEC), previously discussed as the Rear Area Operational Command. This command will focus on logistics and making sure NATO forces are capable of speeding to the battlefield in case of an incursion from Russia.”

Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty reports, “A Russian former lawmaker has testified before a Kyiv court that Russian President Vladimir Putin personally ordered the annexation of Ukraine’s Crimea region in 2014. Speaking at the trial of Ukraine’s ex-President Viktor Yanukovych, Ilya Ponomaryov said on February 14 that he ‘knows for sure’ Putin pushed forward the seizure of Ukraine’s Crimean Peninsula in the night of February 22.” That is just two days after Yanukovych ordered 100 killed in Maidan on February 20, 2014. It also happens to be the day “when Russia-friendly Yanukovych fled from Ukraine to Russia amid massive pro-European protests known as Euromaidan or Maidan.” Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty notes, “According to Ponomaryov, many Russian officials were against the March 2014 annexation of Crimea but Putin pressured them to support the idea.”

Bloomberg reports, “Even as the Kremlin denies any official link to them, scores of Russian mercenaries wounded in U.S. strikes in Syria are being treated at Defense Ministry hospitals. The wounded were brought to military hospitals in Moscow and St. Petersburg, according to two people in contact with them, after more than 200 fighters died in last week’s failed assault on a base held by U.S.-backed forces in Syria’s eastern Deir Ezzor region.” Bloomberg adds, “Fighters involved in the Feb. 7 assault in Syria were linked to Wagner,” a Russian mercenary firm also linked to the war in Ukraine.

Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty reports, “Internet service providers in Russia have begun blocking access to opposition politician Aleksei Navalny’s website following an order from the country’s communications regulator”. Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty recalls, “The development came after regulator Roskomnadzor told Navalny — along with YouTube and Instagram — that they must delete or block access to a video and photos in an online report about an alleged meeting between billionaire Oleg Deripaska and Deputy Prime Minister Sergei Prikhodko, a longtime former senior adviser to President Vladimir Putin.” Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty adds, “Navalny defied the order, which followed a court ruling that publication of the video and photos violated the privacy rights of Derispaska, who filed a lawsuit over the matter after Navalny posted the report on his website on February 8.” Meduza’s moring English language newsletter today also stated Instagram, owned by Fakebook, had complied in removing items linking Deripaska to Nastya Rybka, the escort involved in the story, whereas YouTube, owned by Google, had not. ABC News reports, “The judge presiding over the criminal prosecutions of two of the men charged in special counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation chided lawyers Wednesday for the number of sealed filings they’ve made, and said she was determined to set a trial date soon to keep the case moving forward. Paul Manafort, the former campaign chairman for President Donald Trump, and his business associate Rick Gates were in federal court on Wednesday for a routine status conference.” ABC News notes, “U.S. District Judge Amy Berman Jackson said that while she understood the need to protect certain information, such as bank account numbers and names of family members, she thought the lawyers had been ‘overdoing it’ with the amount of filings being made under seal and out of public view. She ordered that several filings in the case be added to the public docket in at least redacted form. ‘The fact that this case is of significant public interest is not a reason to seal things,’ the judge said. ‘It’s a reason to unseal things.’”

Bloomberg adds some details to yesterday’s status hearing concerning Rick Gates’ counsel. Bloomberg reports, “Before Jackson sealed the courtroom, prominent Washington defense lawyer Tom Green sat in the back of the room. CNN has reported that he was preparing to represent Gates. While Manafort was in the closed courtroom, the lawyer huddled in the hall with Gates, and then with his current counsel, Shanlon Wu and Walter Mack. When Manafort and his lawyers left the courtroom, Green went in with Wu, Mack and Gates. After the closed-door session ended, Gates walked out with Green, while Wu and Mack left separately. Outside the courthouse, Green and Gates were seen hailing a cab.” Meanwhile Bloomberg adds, “‘We’re still in the case,’ Wu told reporters, adding there was no change in status. Asked if Green was entering the case on behalf of Gates, Wu said only if he notifies the court.”

The AP reports, “The White House budget director says a military parade envisioned by President Donald Trump could cost between $10 million and $30 million, although that money is not included in the administration’s new budget request. Office of Management and Budget Director Mick Mulvaney told the House Budget Committee on Wednesday that estimates are ‘very preliminary. He said it’s ‘between 10 and 30 depending on the length” of the parade.’” That cannot be right as that maybe accounts for security costs alone. Besides all in all a great strategy for dealing with Russia: do nothing and throw a very expensive parade.

The Washington Post reports, “Veterans Affairs Secretary David J. Shulkin’s chief of staff doctored an email and made false statements to create a pretext for taxpayers to cover expenses for the secretary’s wife on a 10-day trip to Europe last summer, the agency’s inspector general has found. Vivieca Wright Simpson, VA’s third-most senior official, altered language in an email from an aide coordinating the trip to make it appear that Shulkin was receiving an award from the Danish governmentthen used the award to justify paying for his wife’s travel, Inspector General Michael J. Missal said in a report released Wednesday. VA paid more than $4,300 for her airfare.”  The Washington Post adds, “Shulkin and his staff misled agency ethics officials and the public about key details of the trip. Shulkin also improperly accepted a gift of tickets to a Wimbledon tennis match worth thousands of dollars, the investigation found, and directed an aide coordinating the trip to act as what the report called a ‘personal travel concierge’ to him and his wife.” Now we know why they had to drain the swamp: it hastens the search for bottom feeders. Seriously in what sewer did they scrape to find such lying, talentless trash? Of course shithead Shulkin is not alone as The Washington Post notes, “Shulkin is one of five current and former Trump administration Cabinet members under investigation by agency inspectors general over their travel expenses”. As for the trip on our many dimes, “On the trip to Europe last July, Shulkin and his wife, Merle Bari, were accompanied by Wright Simpson and Poonam Alaigh, then the acting undersecretary of health, as well as an aide and a six-person security detail. The group spent three-and-a-half days meeting with Danish and British officials to discuss veterans’ health issues. Sightseeing occupied the other days, including tours of Westminster Abbey and Denmark’s Rosenborg Castle, a cruise along the Thames and shopping in Sweden,” The Washington Post adds. The Washington Post adds, “Wright Simpson, the chief of staff, became personally involved,” when, “She pressed for Shulkin to receive an award from the Danish government, which she understood to be the criterion that would justify Bari’s status as an ‘invitational traveler’ whose expenses would be covered.” Of course, “Shulkin received no award or special recognition on the trip,” but emails were altered to make it seem as if he did! Then there are the crazy unjustified expenses including an “official ‘Trip Book’ itineraries printed for the entourage, 15 copies at a cost of $100 each.”

POLITICO reports, “A senior official on the National Economic Council says he resigned on Tuesday after being informed that he would not receive a permanent security clearance, as the White House faces increasing scrutiny over the number of high-ranking officials allowed to work on interim clearances. George David Banks, who had served since February 2017 as special assistant to the president for international energy and environmental policy, told POLITICO that he was informed by the White House counsel’s office Tuesday that his application for a permanent clearance would not be granted over his past marijuana use. Like an estimated three dozen others in the White House, Banks had been working on an interim security clearance while the administration determined the status of his full clearance.” POLITICO notes, “Banks is the third White House official to leave the administration over the last week.” At least on “The Apprentice,” the tempo of firings was more like once a week.

Reuters reports, “U.S. President Donald Trump’s defense secretary told European allies on Wednesday to step up efforts to increase military budgets and warned that troop contributions to missions did not exempt them from broader spending goals,” just “two days after Trump proposed a 30 percent jump in U.S. military funding for Europe to deter Russia”. Reuters notes, “Mattis joined defense ministers to discuss the individual plans that NATO countries have submitted for the first time to show how they will reach a target to spend 2 percent of economic output on defense every year by 2024. Trump is set to review the plans at a NATO summit in July,” which should be a shit show as per the Russian puppet president’s standard operating procedure when he visits Europe as a servant of Putin. Defense News reports, “A special fund set up for European requirements is not guaranteed to grow again next year after it received a nearly $2 billion increase in the fiscal 2019 budget request, U.S. Secretary of Defense Jim Mattis said Tuesday. The Pentagon’s European Deterrence Initiative, initially called the European Reassurance Initiative, was created to help Eastern European allies rest easier and deter Russia from further incursion into Europe following what the West perceives as an illegal annexation of Crimea and continued aggression in the region.” Defense News adds, “The FY19 budget request included $6.5 billion for the EDI — an increase over the $4.8 billion requested in FY18 and a steep increase from the $3.4 billion received for FY17. But Mattis was clear that those year-over-year increases are no guarantee that another plus-up will be coming in FY20.” Hope Europe remembers how to raise an army as Russia breathes down its neck because it and accompanying ample piles of bullshit are coming as no one is doing anything to deter Russian aggression in a serious way now. Remember: Russia only respects strength.

The American Interest
notes, “The Russian media has been consumed this week with another bombshell revelation from Alexey Navalny”. In “Navalny’s latest effort is another tawdry tale of escort girls, yachts, and bribery—but it’s also caught the attention of the American media, fanned the flames of the Trump-Russia collusion narrative, and brought down new censorship pressure on YouTube and Instagram within Russia.” The American Interest recalls, “Through careful scrutiny of her public Instagram content, which had been ignored by the public for months, Navalny quickly learned that [escort Nastya] Rybka had been seeing the famous oligarch Oleg Deripaska for the better part of a year. And in the background of one selfie video she had taken aboard his yacht, he discovered a tantalizing snippet of dialogue between Deripaska and Sergey Prikhodko, the Russian Deputy Prime Minister of Foreign Affairs.” The American Interest continues, “For a day after the video dropped, both Deripaska and Prikhodko kept silent. Then the oligarch made the first move, promising to file a lawsuit. Three hours later, the court in Deripaska’s hometown ruled to block online access to Navalny’s video and its coverage in the media. According to timestamps on the court documents, it only took half an hour to make the decision. Nine hours later, the Russian media watchdog issued an official warning to YouTube demanding the video be taken down.” The American Interest notes, “The oligarch is suing Nastya Rybka and her alleged pimp Alex Lesley”. In Russia, while the corruption is ignored because given how corrupt Russia is, “the story has opened another important discussion. Deripaska belongs to a broader circle of Yeltsin-era oligarchs and to a narrower one: The Family. The Family consists of Boris Yeltsin’s daughter Tatiana, and a select number of officials close to Yeltsin, like the late former Prime Minister Viktor Chernomyrdin. Deripaska became part of The Family in 2001 when he married Tatiana’s stepdaughter Polina Yumasheva, daughter of the former Yeltsin Administration head Valentin Yumashev.” The American Interest adds, “Deripaska’s political fortunes have been declining since at least 2008, when Vladimir Putin publicly scolded him for a critical situation at one of his factories outside Saint Petersburg. Workers blocked a federal highway demanding their salaries, which had gone unpaid for months. Putin publicly made Deripaska sign a business agreement that would resolve the problems at the plant, and dressed down Deripaska in a humiliating way.” The American Interest reports, “Deripaska’s ties to The Family have weakened after he separated from his wife and rumors about an upcoming divorce spread in August 2017. In October, Deripaska’s En+ company launched its IPO on the London Stock Exchange, revealing that Polina Deripaska was the owner of 6.9 percent of the company, worth approximately $500 million,” considered alimony in advance in lieu of any formal pre-nup. As The American Interest suggests, “With Deripaska now publicly tarnished by the scandal, his rivals may smell blood and pounce, seeking to further undermine his standing and get their hands on some of his old assets.” As the saying goes, “it’s nothing personal, as the saying goes—it’s strictly business.”

The Kansas City Star reports, “On Nov. 11, 2015, after ‘#PrayforMizzou’ started to trend on Twitter in the wake of student protests over racial issues at the University of Missouri, a Twitter user with the handle @Fanfan1911 dispatched a warning. The Twitter user’s name was listed as Jermaine. And the message was sinister: ‘The cops are marching with the KKK! They beat up my little brother! Watch out!’ Attached, was a photo of a black child with a bruised face.” However as you know if you are reading about it in the DISINFO WARS section of TRUMPISTAN WATCH, “The report was false, and the photo was of a child beaten by Ohio police a year before. But within minutes, the tweet had been shared and retweeted, by at least 70 bots who ‘chastised’ the media for not covering racists on campus and real people, including scared students.” The Kansas City Star reports, “Russian Twitter trolls masterminded a tweet that fueled erroneous reports that the Ku Klux Klan was patrolling Mizzou’s campus during the 2015 student protests at the University of Missouri, a U.S. Air Force officer wrote in an article on ‘information-age warfare’ published in Strategic Studies Quarterly late last year.” The Kansas City Star notes, “The hoax was part of a calculated and government-supported effort by Russia to disrupt democracies, and a warm-up to subsequent efforts to use social media to manipulate public opinion during the 2016 presidential election.” The Kansas City Star adds, “According to his article, Missouri Students Association president Payton Head was also influenced by the tweet. On Nov. 11, 2015, Head warned students to stay off the streets because KKK members had been confirmed on campus. He later apologized after police stated the reports were unconfirmed, and said he did not intend to ‘incite more fear in the hearts of our community.’” The Kansas City Star continues, “@Fanfan1911 changed his display name from Jermaine to ‘FanFan,’ after fears at Mizzou subsided. The profile picture of a black man changed to the image of a German iron cross,” adding, “The next few months, FanFan’s tweets were all in German and consisted of spreading rumors about Syrian refugees”. Then, “By the spring of 2016, the same account began tweeting in English, supporting messages from right-wing news organizations such as Breitbart.” Eventually, “The account became ‘Deplorable Lucy,’ and its picture became a ‘white middle-aged female with a Trump logo’ at the bottom.” These Twitter trolls sure make it around the world of ethno-nationalism without borders.

The Intercept has obtained WikiLeaks chats! Recall The Intercept is co-founded by Krem’Glenn Greenwald, a reliable mouthpiece for Russia’s arguments of persuasion on the left who has found common cause with the far right media ecosystem as of late to bolster another Russian proxy, Trump. This is fantastic for a few reasons. First, it shows Russia is willing to dispose of its Julian Asswipe problem and lucky for him it does not involve lead. Second, it shows how willing The Intercept is to be Russia’s dumping ground of choice and how un-self aware they are that some day, there may be just as little use for them or better yet, Krem’Glenn personally! So, what is in the WikiLeaks chats? Asswipe wanted the death cult GOP to win. The Intercept notes, “The messages also reveal a running theme of sexism and misogyny, contain hints of anti-Semitism, and underline Assange’s well-documented obsession with his public image.” Less you doubt The Intercept’s ties to WikiLeaks, they remind us in a, “Disclosure: One of the authors of this article, Micah Lee, along with The Intercept’s co-founding editors Glenn Greenwald and Laura Poitras, is a member of Freedom of the Press Foundation’s board of directors. For years, Freedom of the Press Foundation processed payments on behalf of WikiLeaks to bypass the financial censorship that the organization was facing. The foundation ceased doing so in December”. And less you doubt Asswipe is a Russia apologist, Asswipe maintained Russia had only “minor imperialistic goals in its near abroad.” So this is how he covers for the slaughter of 100 innocents in Maidan and over 10,000 in eastern Ukraine? Asswipe sure would not like his life described in such terms as “minor,” yet the evidence is palpable.
