POLITICO reports, “President Donald Trump signed an executive order Wednesday that ends the administration’s policy of separating migrant families crossing the U.S.-Mexico border, abandoning the president’s previous stance that only Congress can fix the problem.” He doubled down and buckled. Remember, this is how regimes like this falter, fail and then fall: the internal pressure causes the collapse, which is only achieved through heavy external pressure. So as Curtis would say, keep on pushing! The fake Russian bullshit president now claims, “I didn’t like the sight or the feeling of families being separated,” which is pure delusional horse shit for a lunatic who celebrated this policy, touted it, screamed about “animals,” “MS-13” and used the word “infest” over and over and over again. Nope, no pass! He was “flanked by Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen and Vice President Mike Pence,” his fellow Nazi cockroaches in instituting this abomination, the only ones missing were Stephen Miller, Private Russian Sessions, the heads of ICE, now certifiably Trump’s Gestapo, the precious Aryan princess Ivanka and all the rest of them who have infested our government at the highest levels. Now the Great Lunatic claims, falsely, “I think anybody with a heart would feel strongly about it. We don’t like to see families separated.” No one believes he has a heart except for suckers, no one has forgotten he created this policy except for suckers. And do not think this is over, that the internment camps are going away as, “Trump said that he wanted to continue enforcing a strong policy at the border, an issue he campaigned on: “‘We are keeping a very powerful border and it continues to be a zero tolerance. We have zero tolerance for people that enter our country illegally.’ And the president continued to say that the underlying issue remains one for Congress to fix, titling the document an ‘executive order affording Congress an opportunity to address family separation.’” And as icing on this shitstain’s brand of pure evil, “Administration officials also said that children who have already been separated from their parents won’t immediately be reunited, even if the parents remain in federal custody,” POLITICO notes. So no, this is not over, keep on pushing!

POLITICO reports, “With cable news flashing images of migrant children held in cages and lawmakers’ offices facing a flood of angry phone calls, the president was under increased pressure to come up with a speedy solution. White House aides came to the conclusion on Wednesday that Congress was unlikely to act quickly to resolve the crisis”. Yeah, they are not going to clean up for the Lubyanka shitstain. POLITICO adds, “Attorney General Jeff Sessions was slated to go to Capitol Hill on Wednesday to brief lawmakers on the administration’s plans,” this as, “Nielsen and Trump repeatedly tried to blame Democrats for the situation at the border, saying that nothing could be done without a legislative resolution.” POLITICO notes, “The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement legal team wasn’t clued into the decision, according to a former DHS official with knowledge of the situation. ‘It sounds like they blindsided everybody,’ this person said. ‘What changed in the last 12, 24 hours? … Either you believe that, operationally, this is what you need to be doing, or you don’t.’” POLITICO adds, “Public outcry over the family separations reached new heights on Wednesday after The Associated Press reported that the administration is placing babies and toddlers in ‘tender age’ shelters.” Yep, baby prisons. Welcome to the hell that is Trumpistan: where babies are literally locked in cages for no fucking reason. Remember pizzagate? Meanwhile, “On Tuesday night, shortly before the AP story broke, Trump attended a $100,000-plus-per-person fundraiser at his hotel in Washington,” no doubt with “the best people”. And POLITICO notes after days of silence, the eternally clueless Aryan princess Ivanka reemerged and “tweeted on Wednesday, after the executive order was signed: ‘Thank you @POTUS for taking critical action ending family separation at our border. Congress must now act + find a lasting solution that is consistent with our shared values;the same values that so many come here seeking as they endeavor to create a better life for their families.’” Nope. No Aryan princess Ivanka, nobody but ghouls shares these values and we, we are the American people, we are not dead inside yet. Meanwhile The Washington Post kicks in, “First it was a deterrent. Then it wasn’t. It was a new Justice Department policy. Then it wasn’t. The Trump administration was simply following the law. Then it said separations weren’t required by law. It could not be reversed by executive order. Then it was.” As The Washington Post’s headline notes, “The Trump administration changed its story no less than 14 times”.

The AP reports, “Immigrant children as young as 14 housed at a juvenile detention center in Virginia say they were beaten while handcuffed and locked up for long periods in solitary confinement, left nude and shivering in concrete cells. The abuse claims against the Shenandoah Valley Juvenile Center near Staunton, Virginia, are detailed in federal court filings that include a half-dozen sworn statements from Latino teens jailed there for months or years. Multiple detainees say the guards stripped them of their clothes and strapped them to chairs with bags placed over their heads.” Wonder where the guards got the idea? We have never seen this before. After all, this is not who we are – except of course when it is, then it must be crisis actors or something. Back to the Kardashians and shopping! Or however you look away and pretend this is not happening until you cannot any longer because there are pictures and audio and oh my god, you are woke! A 15 year old from Honduras described his torture: “Whenever they used to restrain me and put me in the chair, they would handcuff me,” adding, “Strapped me down all the way, from your feet all the way to your chest, you couldn’t really move. … They have total control over you. They also put a bag over your head. It has little holes; you can see through it. But you feel suffocated with the bag on.” Echoes stories TRUMPISTAN WATCH has heard from survivors of Chicago police torture because reminder: THIS IS WHO WE ARE! “In addition to the children’s first-hand, translated accounts in court filings, a former child-development specialist who worked inside the facility independently told The Associated Press this week that she saw kids there with bruises and broken bones they blamed on guards.” Of course the AP notes, “In court filings, lawyers for the detention facility have denied all allegations of physical abuse,” just as Chicago police officers denied their deeds and only Lynndie England took the fall for Abu Ghraib – silly one woman isolated torture incident! The AP adds, “Most children held in the Shenandoah facility who were the focus of the abuse lawsuit were caught crossing the border illegally alone.” The AP adds, “The lawsuit recounts multiple alleged violent incidents between Latino children and staff at the Shenandoah center. It describes the guards as mostly white, non-Spanish speakers who are undertrained in dealing with individuals with mental illness. The suit alleges staff members routinely taunt the Latino youths with racially charged epithets, including ‘wetback,’ ‘onion head’ and ‘pendejo,’ which roughly translates to dumbass in Spanish.” So here are some atrocities from the suit:

– “A 16-year-old who said he had lived in Texas with his mother since he was an infant ended up at Shenandoah in September after a police officer pulled over a car he was riding in and asked for ID, which he couldn’t provide. As one of the few Latino kids who is fluent in English, the teen would translate for other detainees the taunts and names the staff members were calling them. He said that angered the guards, resulting in his losing such modest privileges as attending art classes. If you are behaving bad, resisting the staff when they try to remove you from the program, they will take everything in your room away — your mattress, blanket, everything,’ he said. ‘They will also take your clothes. Then they will leave you locked in there for a while. This has happened to me, and I know it has happened to other kids, too.’”

– “The immigrant detainees said they were largely segregated from the mostly white juveniles being held on criminal charges, but they could see that the other housing units had amenities that included plush chairs and video gaming consoles not available in the Spartan pods housing the Latinos.” So much for they have video games and chips, Nazi Nielsen’s ridiculous claim that was supposed to make this all alright.

– “the teens reported spending the bulk of their days locked alone in their cells, with a few hours set aside for classroom instruction, recreation and meals. Some said they had never been allowed outdoors, while the U.S.-born children were afforded a spacious recreation yard.”

– “The Latino children reported being fed sparse and often cold meals that left them hungry, though meals of American fast food were occasionally provided. Records show Shenandoah receives nearly $82,000 a year from the Agriculture Department to feed the immigration detainees.”
– “The lawsuit said the poor conditions, frequent physical searches and verbal abuse by staff often escalated into confrontations, as the frustrated children acted out. The staff regularly responded ‘by physically assaulting the youth, applying an excessive amount of force that goes far beyond what is needed to establish or regain control.’”
– “In the case of the Mexican 17-year-old, the lawsuit said a staff member who suspected him of possessing contraband threw him to the ground and forcibly tore off his clothes for an impromptu strip search. Though no forbidden items were found, the teenager was transferred to ‘Alpha Pod,’ described in the lawsuit as a unit within the facility designated for children who engage in bad behavior.”
– “Latino children were frequently punished by being restrained for hours in chairs, with handcuffs and cloth shackles on their legs. Often, the lawsuit alleged, the children were beaten by staff while bound.”
– “After an altercation during which the lawsuit alleged the Mexican teenager bit a staff member during a beating, he was restrained in handcuffs and shackles for 10 days, resulting in bruises and cuts. Other teens interviewed as part of the court case also reported being punished for minor infractions with stints in solitary confinement, during which some of the children said they were left nude and shivering in cold concrete cells.”
– A 14-year old Guatemalan teenager reports, “‘When they couldn’t get one of the kids to calm down, the guards would put us in a chair — a safety chair, I don’t know what they call it — but they would just put us in there all day,’ the teen said in a sworn statement. ‘This happened to me, and I saw it happen to others, too. It was excessive.’” Also, P.S. this is common in the juvenile “justice” system but no one cares about that or ever bothered to think about it because there is probably something shiny in a store most would rather contemplate.

– A 15-year old Mexican teenager reports, “‘They handcuffed me and put a white bag of some kind over my head,’ he said, according to his sworn statement. ‘They took off all of my clothes and put me into a restraint chair, where they attached my hands and feet to the chair. They also put a strap across my chest. They left me naked and attached to that chair for two and a half days, including at night.’” Imagine how he went to the bathroom.
– A “17-year-old Mexican youth said he tried to kill himself in August, only to be punished with further isolation. On other occasions, he said, he has responded to feelings of desperation and hopelessness by cutting his wrists with a piece of glass and banging his head against the wall or floor.” The teen said, “One time I cut myself after I had gotten into a fight with staff,” adding, “I filled the room with blood. This happened on a Friday, but it wasn’t until Monday that they gave me a bandage or medicine for the pain.”

– “other immigrant youths held at Shenandoah have also engaged in cutting and other self-harming behaviors, including ingesting shampoo and attempting to choke themselves.”
– A child development specialist who visited the kids reports, “I had a kid whose foot was broken by a guard.”

Reminder: this is who we are. Words and dehumanizing rhetoric have consequences. It does not have to be this way, but it is for now. Also note most if not all of this has existed for decades now in the juvenile justice system, notable the forced restraints and long periods “in the hole” (solitary confinement). Ours is a truly brutal nation and injustice engulfs us, although most of us ignore it because we can and we choose to. Some of us stare at it for so long that when we get messages of self-righteous shock we just shake our heads and think, “Haven’t you been listening?” Or, “where have you been all this time?” Or actually do something, stop talking! But now you can see, millions of people standing up for what’s right can actually have an effect, and the more of us stand up to it, the fewer knocks on the door there will be because they can’t knock on everyone’s door for defying the government over what is morally wrong and unjust. If you do not want this to be who we are, do not just say it, words are empty, make it so.

NBC News reports, “The cost of holding migrant children who have been separated from their parents in newly created ‘tent cities’ is $775 per person per night, according to an official at the Department of Health and Human Servicesfar higher than the cost of keeping children with their parents in detention centers or holding them in more permanent buildings.” Now wait for why it costs so much. NBC News notes, “The reason for the high cost, the official and several former officials told NBC News, is that the sudden urgency to bring in security, air conditioning, medical workers and other government contractors far surpasses the cost for structures that are routinely staffed.” Yes, they were literally going to keep people as livestock like they had been but then pictures emerged and the public got all “not in my name” uppity about this atrocity. Libtards! TRUMPISTAN WATCH will not bother you with the cost breakdown but it will add, “The HHS official said the agency is ‘aggressively looking for potential sites’ for more tent cities,” because this shit is not going away until they figure out some final solution, full sinister implications intended. Or better yet, we get rid of the Nazi cockroach infestation at the highest levels and this regime collapses and goes away forever. Human Rights Watch has garnered satellite imagery of kiddie internment camp facilities: a reminder that in the digital age, no matter who you are and where you might imagine you are lord and emperor of, you cannot hide your crimes against humanity.

The New York Times reports, “migrant children have been coming in waves to New York, taken from their parents after crossing the southern border. Even as President Trump signed an executive order on Wednesday ending his administration’s policy of separating parents and children who have illegally crossed the border,” with no plans to reunite those families already ripped apart, “the crisis was already spreading to a city some 2,000 miles away.” The New York Times adds, “Speaking outside Cayuga Centers in Harlem, one of a group of social service agencies in the state that contract with the federal government to take in unaccompanied minors, Mayor Bill de Blasio on Wednesday afternoon said 350 children had come through the center and that 239 of them were currently in Cayuga’s care”. The New York Times notes, “The children included a 9-year-old boy from Honduras who had come alone on a bus from Texas, and a child as young as 9 months old, Mr. de Blasio said, as he issued a scathing rebuke of the Trump administration.” How do you rip a baby away from its parents? For his part, de Blasio asked, “How is it possible that none of us knew that there were 239 kids right here in our own city?” Adding, “How is the federal government holding back that information from the people of this city and holding back the help these kids could need?” That is because the federal government is infested at the moment with racist sickos, Nazi cockroaches. The New York Times adds, “Mr. de Blasio said the federal government would not tell city officials exactly how many children were sent to New York or where they were being housed. The office of Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo said the state also did not know the exact number. The consulates in New York for Honduras and El Salvador said they, too, were unclear how many of their young citizens were in the city, and of how to reach their relatives back home.” And, “the federal agency that cares for unaccompanied minors — the Office of Refugee Resettlement — remained silent.” This means there are disappeared and all of the sinister implications that entails. They could be dead, they could be alive; we have no idea. The New York Times notes, “The children have been separated from their parents at the southern border as part of the federal government’s zero tolerance policy, in which adults were being prosecuted for entering the country illegally, and their children were taken from them and placed into custody separately. More than 2,300 children have been taken from their parents in the last two months.” That is because when the government separates the children, it then renders them unaccompanied minors even if they were not so upon entering the country.

The Washington Post reports, “The White House on Thursday will propose merging the Education and Labor departments into one federal agency, the centerpiece of a plan to remake a bureaucracy that President Trump and his supporters consider too big and bloated”. Why not throw in “the cyber,” the Environmental Protection Agency, intelligence and all the other things the regime thinks are useless into one super department of thing Trump does not care about? The Washington Post notes, “The plan also is expected to include major changes to the way the government provides benefits for low-income Americans, an area that conservatives have long targeted as excessive, by consolidating safety-net programs that are administered through multiple agencies.” The poors: are they necessary? Can this be considered just more preparation for the next stage of genocide: slaughter? The Washington Post adds, “The reorganization plan also is likely to revamp the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) to shrink its role as the department responsible for employee background checks, retirement claims, benefits and federal workforce policy,” because you do not want to look too closely at these criminals and the plan is to loot these others things to serve the family and other Trumpistani elites.

The Washington Times reports, “Twenty-four hours after his boss took yet another shot at Germany on Twitter, Defense Secretary James N. Mattis on Wednesday praised the European nation and said it’s ‘on the right trajectory’ with respect to its financial contributions to NATO, also telling reporters at the Pentagon that Berlin is an indispensable partner to the U.S. military mission in Afghanistan.” The Washington Times adds, “His remarks — offered during a brief question-and-answer session alongside German Defense Minister Ursula von der Leyen — come as the Trump administration continues to heap criticism on Germany for falling short on NATO spending and President Trump slams German Chancellor Angela Merkel’s handling of the immigration problem. Mr. Mattis’ comments also come just weeks before a pivotal NATO summit in Brussels that will serve as a key test of U.S.-European relations.” The Washington Times notes, “The secretary’s strong defense of Germany could help mollify leaders in Berlin,” because this is what it means to be Trump’s Secretary of Defense: constant clean up duty for the cymbals crashing the symphony, to use a Mattis original metaphor.

Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty reports, “The Kremlin has said U.S. national security adviser John Bolton plans to visit Moscow, without providing details about the trip.” Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty adds, “Earlier on June 21, Russia’s [state-run] Interfax news agency quoted sources in Washington as saying that Bolton was expected to come to travel to Moscow next week to prepare for a possible meeting of Putin and his U.S. counterpart, Donald Trump.” Love how these announcements always come from the regime’s masters in Moscow, never the regime itself.

ABC News reports, “Michael Cohen, President Trump’s longtime confidant and former personal attorney, has resigned from his post as deputy finance chair of the Republican National Committee’s Finance Committee”. Oh, sad! The best people! ABC News adds, “In his resignation letter to Ronna McDaniel, the RNC chair, Cohen cited the ongoing special counsel investigation as one reason for his departure.” But wait now we have woke Michael Cohen who is far better positioned now to speak out than he was back when he was the fake Russian bullshit president’s personal attorney, profiting as a consultant off of his access, threatening journalists and otherwise doing the other anti-globalist swampy things Trumpistani elites do in lieu of providing good governance. ABC News notes, “Cohen also criticized the administration’s policy of separating migrant children from their parents at the southern border, the first time he’s distanced himself from the president. As the son of a Polish holocaust survivor, the images and sounds of this family separation policy is heart wrenching,’ Cohen wrote. ‘While I strongly support measures that will secure our porous borders, children should never be used as bargaining chips.’” Yeah like hiring someone to say threaten Stormy Daniels baby girl? Hmmm….

Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty reports, “Russia was emboldened by the lack of a decisive response by President Barack Obama’s administration during the 2016 presidential election and will seek to interfere in future elections,” Victoria Nuland, “whose portfolio at the State Department made her a leading Russia official under Obama, made the comments on June 20 during a hearing at the Senate Intelligence Committee, which is conducting a sweeping investigation of Russian actions in the United States.” After Obama issued his stern “knock it off to Putin,” in September 2016, Nuland told the committee “Russian actions appeared to wane for roughly a month, but then picked up by late October, just weeks before the November 8 vote.” Nuland said, “It’s probably the case that the Russians expected deterrent measures and didn’t see them, and so felt they could keep pushing”. The comments by Michael Daniel, who served as White House ‘cyber security coordinator’ between 2012 and January of last year, provided his first public confirmation”. Reuters notes, “Maassen did not identify how many companies were targeted in the attack, which BSI has said is now under control.”

Reuters reports, “The Macedonian parliament formally ratified a landmark name agreement with Greece on Wednesday, paving the way for Skopje’s admission to NATO and the opening of accession talks with the European Union. Last week the foreign ministers of the two countries signed an accord to rename the tiny ex-Yugoslav republic the ‘Republic of North Macedonia’, despite nationalist protests on both sides of their shared border.” The dispute was long lasting as since “Declaring its independence in 1991, Macedonia avoided the wars that battered some other ex-Yugoslav republics, but Greece refused to accept the country’s name, saying it implied territorial claims on the Greek province of Macedonia and amounted to an appropriation of its ancient civilization.” It was among the most absurd in international relations and by far TRUMPISTAN WATCH’s favorite and the topic of a journalism school master’s thesis – oh was that fun reporting and writing!

The Hill reports the fake Russian bullshit president “tossed Starburst candies to German Chancellor Angela Merkel during his tense meeting with Group of Seven (G-7) leaders weeks ago, Eurasia Group President Ian Bremmer said Wednesday.” Bremmer described the “bizarre incident toward the end of the summit, when Merkel and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau joined some of other the allies “to press Trump directly to sign the [group] communique that talked about the commitment to a rules-based international order.” The Hill adds quoting Bremmer, “Trump was sitting there with his arms crossed, clearly not liking the fact that they were ganging up on him,” adding, “He eventually agreed and said OK, he’ll sign it. And at that point, he stood up, put his hand in his pocket, his suit jacket pocket, and he took two Starburst candies out, threw them on the table and said to Merkel, ‘Here, Angela. Don’t say I never give you anything.’” Of course, “Shortly after the summit, Trump refused to endorse the joint communique signed by the other G-7 members, rebuking Trudeau and threatening to impose further tariffs on the country. The president also earned a rebuttal from Merkel on Tuesday after he criticized her country’s immigration systemfalsely claiming crime was in her country is on the rise.” Allies, now is your chance, help the American people, leak all the damaging good you have got, you have our support and gratitude.

The Washington Post adds, “In early-morning tweets, Schmidt, a vocal Trump critic, urged voters to elect Democrats in the 2018 midterm elections and harshly criticized the administration’s policy of separating migrant children from their parents at the U.S. border, describing the government-run detention centers as ‘internment camps for babies,’” which is exactly how TRUMPISTAN WATCH has described them. “‘29 years and nine months ago I registered to vote and became a member of The Republican Party which was founded in 1854 to oppose slavery and stand for the dignity of human life,’ Schmidt wrote. ‘Today I renounce my membership in the Republican Party. It is fully the party of Trump.’”

The New York Times reports, “For years, the Murdoch family has been able to maintain a separation between its Fox News network and its sprawling entertainment empire. But that corporate buffer seems to be disintegrating, with several prominent creators of hit TV shows expressing disgust in recent days with the 24-hour news channel’s coverage of the Trump administration’s border security policy.” The New York Times adds, “Steve Levitan, the creator of ‘Modern Family,’ which airs on ABC but is produced by Fox’s television studio, wrote on Twitter on Tuesday that he was ‘disgusted to work at a company that has anything whatsoever to do with @FoxNews.’ The film director Paul Feig echoed those sentiments, writing that he had made two films for the 20th Century Fox movie studio but ‘cannot condone the support their news division promotes toward the immoral and abusive policies and actions taken by this current administration toward immigrant children.’ Those tweets came several days after Seth MacFarlane, the creator of ‘Family Guy,’ said he was ‘embarrassed’ to work at 21st Century Fox after the Fox News host Tucker Carlson told viewers not to trust other news networks.” The New York Times notes, “The criticism has erupted as the future of 21st Century Fox remains in limbo. Both The Walt Disney Company and Comcast are bidding tens of billions of dollars for control of most of the entertainment assets owned by Rupert Murdoch. Fox News would not be part of either sale, and would remain under Murdoch control.” So naturally the sudden altruism comes with less of a stake as many are more willing to talk the talk because “with the Fox entertainment empire on the brink of being severed from the Murdochs, there appeared to be a newfound willingness to take on Fox News, an enormously profitable arm of 21st Century Fox.” The New York Times adds, “The Murdoch-owned company has varied offerings, ranging from its Hollywood-based television and movie studios, the cable channels FX, FS1 and National Geographic, and the TV operator Star India.”

The New York Times reports, “Have you enjoyed the first week of the 2018 World Cup? Good. Some of the games have certainly been very exciting! Now read the words of Dmitry Pchelintsev as they appeared in MediaZona, a small independent online publication focused on police brutality and the prison system in Russia: ‘The man in surgical gloves cranked the DC generator with wires attached to my toes. The calves of my legs started contracting violently, I was paralyzed with pain. They threw me on the floor, pulled my underpants down and tried to attach the wires to my genitals. I clenched my teeth so hard that my mouth was full of blood and shards of broken teeth.’” The New York Times adds, “Mr. Pchelintsev, a 26-year-old anti-fascist activist from the industrial town of Penza, told his lawyer about this in February — and then, he has said, he was tortured again to make him disown his statement. He is part of what his torturers — Russia’s main intelligence agency, the F.S.B. — alleges is a conspiracy to commit acts of terrorism during the World Cup to provoke ‘popular masses for further destabilization of the political climate in the country.’” Of course this is why the language of terrorism has proven so useful in getting the former USA to where it is today with Trumpistan. So enjoy your games, know for others it is much less of one and that your pleasures are coming at the expense of others real, profound and lasting pain. Of course, “None of this should come as a surprise. President Vladimir Putin has given the Russian security services free rein in the lead-up to the World Cup.” The New York Times notes, “some Russians are wondering why these foreigners are getting away with things that would land us in jail for ‘unsanctioned rallying’ or with a hefty fine for ‘public disturbance.’” And “It’s unlikely that the crackdown will ease up once the trophy has been awarded: Russia’s state security apparatus is never very eager to give back the liberties it has taken away in the name of security.” That is an important lesson for Trumpistan as we contend with the monster that is the Department of Homeland Security.
